Saves you on batteries just plug them in and if your power goes out you still have battery back up

Worked a couple days climbed back up om the ladder and checked connections, got them going for 1 day. They didnt work after that at all. I i have another brand and they still are working years later.

Love that no batteries are required so saving lots of money there, however, it doesnt plug in straight like a cell phone would, it sticks out at the bottom, so it wont be flat. It makes it unbalanced. Dont understand the reason behind making the cord like that. Otherwise it does the job.

I purchase this product to get rid of worries about battery and the long camera usage that can drain the battery. I also want my cameras to work if no power is avail… So I keep the battery and then also connect your AC power, camera start to have communication issues and I had to unplugged them. Reaching camera is very difficult and that is another reason why I opted for AC power option. So troubleshooting is very difficult to do. I’m not sure if it a power issue or camera cannot support both sources of power. I have the 5 exterior blink

not used outdoors

I used this kit to then connect to a Cat6 cable and connect back to a POE switch for power. Much more stable and more reliable then when they ran on batteries. I was thinking of getting rid of these for a solution that is wired until I found this. Now I will keep using them!

I like the fact that I dont have to buy batterys anymore. The power cord were easy to install and they are weatherproof. They work great during heavy rain and cold weather.
