I was having trouble with my prints sticking to my bed on my Ender 3 pro, so I decided to replace the sock, because they seemed to me sticking to the sock and I had noticed a tear in my sock for the longest time and that kind of annoyed me. The news are different from the ones that came with my printer. The old one on the left side of both pictures stuck out a little more and hugged more of the nozzle. the new one has an opening which I assume is for changing the nozzle with the sock on and its shaved where the screws that hold the heater block on are. I also assume this is to allow it to seal to the heater block better and give less chance for filament to ooze underneath the sock. Ive done several prints with it and not noticed any difference functionally, so like a lot of Creality products Ill assume it was changed sometime down the line since I got my Ender 3 Pro. it came in a 3 pack, but I doubt Ill be changing them out all that often, the first one was on my printer for years. these cost next to nothing so if your sock is damaged its totally worth replacing.
