Greater than one weekGets the job done when removing rust. These wire brushes are rated at 12,500 RPM so just make sure your grinder is rated for their use. I have the Metabo angle grinder and it’s rated at 11,500. My maintenance shop has quit a few of the Milwaukee angle grinders and they are rated at 11,000 RPM. That’s the corded ones. I didn’t check our cordless grinders but they should be below that. I would guess a couple thousand but you should always check. Never use a grinder above the RPM rating and if you do you will find out real quick why you shouldn’t. Lol. Either way they work great and I would definitely recommend this set.

> 3 dayHead is out of balance and vibrates hands to make them sore and bristles soft so flare out 45’ when spinning; finally took it off and dug out a very old USA brand and used it the rest of the day. Wish I hadn’t bought this brand.

> 3 dayThese work great for getting off rust. They seem to be well made. 5/8 nut makes it easy to quickly swap one out for another. Plus with the variety here, you should be able to take care of whatever you need to and get every angle.

> 3 dayI liked this product because of its design. The built in hexagon nut makes for easy changing of wire wheels. With this 4 pack I was able to get even angle I needed with at least one pad. I use this quite a bit and they are just as sturdy as the day I got them. I have no complaints and very happy I ordered this when I did because it came in clutch a few weeks back getting the rust off the heads of steel well cover. Used the gold colored wheel to clean heads of bolt off so 18 mm fit on correctly.

> 3 dayIll admit I was surprised when I opened this box and saw these brushes. I am impressed. These are heavy duty workhorse brushes. The twisted wire brushes are so tight I was unable to move the bristles with my fingers. They fit my 4.5 angle grinder just fine.

> 3 dayThese wire wheel cups are a staple in my workshop. I do a lot of restoration work on old, antiques and military items, often of which needs rust removal or paint removal. These wire wheels have been working just fine, sitting on my angle, grinders with no issue. They also don’t seem to fling/lose wires anymore than the ones I get from my local hardware store as of 1/5/23 they cost around $15 and are worth every penny. I like that it comes with a brass one too, for more delicate work.

> 3 dayThis kit is specifically for 5/8 adapter found on many angle-grinders, but can use adapters for nearly any other application including basic DIY tools such as your household drills. These brushes are fairly large however and will be best suited for larger pieces which wont be adversely damaged by their coarse nature, for example cast iron and steel plating. These brushes excel in that respect, for which I personally used for removal of paint from engine parts. Excellent kit, lots of applications and at a great price.

> 3 dayAll 4 of these brushes seems to be doing a nice job while holding up well. Removing rust from trailer frame and they all have a different purpose and use on this project which they are all meeting expectations for the price. Starting to feel some vibration as they get used more so hope that does get to the point of off balance enough that I cant use them anymore. If that happens prematurely I will update my post to reflect that as my rating will fall. As for now I would recommend this set

Greater than one weekWe are using these on an old car being restored. They worked very well removing rust from an old power steering pump. The twisted knot brushes work better than the abrasives I tried on the heavily rusted parts. This is a very nice set of brushes for this project. They fit onto the 2 right angle grinders I own. I had been using smaller brushes on a drill but these are much faster. There are many options for rust removal on metal. This set is a good option.

> 3 dayThese are some massive, heavy duty wire wheel brushes. They will certainly do the job of removing rust and corrosion from anywhere you can reach. They are great! The only bad thing is when pieces come flying off with the high RPMs of an angle grinder. So make sure youre wearing safety glasses and gloves and have complete coverage of all potentially exposed skin.
