Pros: This is a good set of inexpensive wire wheels. You get 4 wire wheels 2 flat and 2 cup all 4 screw on to a standard angle grinder and seem to hold up well and take rust and paint off of the material you are using them on. They do throw off some of the wire pieces however I do not think there are any out there that do not throw some wire when in use. The metal rings seem to plenty strong enough to avoid any catastrophic failures. Overall: For the price you really can not go wrong with this wire wheel set. They hold up well for the price. I can recommend them.

These wire brush wheels are excellent. They are aggressive and do a terrific job of cleaning metal up prior to welding. I even use them to clean up my welds after the fact. They do a good surface prep job and last quite a while. I have not been able to wear one out yet despite all my efforts. Im thinking of getting a another angle grinder just so I can keep the cup on hand along with the disc.

They work really well, but they dont really hold up for too long. Worth the money.

These are some massive, heavy duty wire wheel brushes. They will certainly do the job of removing rust and corrosion from anywhere you can reach. They are great! The only bad thing is when pieces come flying off with the high RPMs of an angle grinder. So make sure youre wearing safety glasses and gloves and have complete coverage of all potentially exposed skin.

I like that the pack comes with 4 different style wire wheels. I tend to use the twisted wire wheels the most, but its nice to have the others. I used all of them to remove rust and old paint off a delta unisaw Im restoring and the wheels worked great. Good variety of shapes to get into corners. I did some really aggressive work on some panels and found that the wires starts to really fly off these wheels if you get aggressive with them. I think all wire wheels do this, but I think these guys really started to come off quickly. They lasted long enough for my project, and look like they will probably last at least a few more long days of grinding. They fit standard grinders and overall, they are good value, just make sure to protect your arms and wear your safety glasses.

This kit is specifically for 5/8 adapter found on many angle-grinders, but can use adapters for nearly any other application including basic DIY tools such as your household drills. These brushes are fairly large however and will be best suited for larger pieces which wont be adversely damaged by their coarse nature, for example cast iron and steel plating. These brushes excel in that respect, for which I personally used for removal of paint from engine parts. Excellent kit, lots of applications and at a great price.

Ive gone through a few of these types of wire wheels. I went through a phase of finding old USA bench vises and restoring them. This usually involved using my angle grinder and wire wheels to strip off old rust and hardened dried grease. This seems to be an all inclusive set and includes something Ive not used, a brass brush. The RPMs printed on the back show to be rated for any angle grinder. One thing of note while using these is that the wire bristles while in use will come off and fly like bullets. When Im lazy and work with no shirt on, these will stick in your skin and sometimes draw blood. When I was wearing a leather apron, they will stick into the apron. Whatever you decide to do make sure you WEAR SAFETY GLASSES. You only get one set of eyes.

Rust removal 101 here we come. Automotive undercarriage prep and rust removal made easy. I attached this semi-flat steel wire wheel to my 11 Amp grinder and did a little cleanup under a 13 yr old vehicle during some suspension work. Worked fast. I did wear long sleeves, gloves and face/eye protection.I never trust any wire wheel at any speed to not release particles. Safety first here. Some spray paint primer and paint and I was good. The proper tools make life easy and this is one of them. These wire wheels are total gnarly (as my son said) and look like a they are ready for the zombie apocalypse. I dont weld but the larger knot wire wheel seems to be great to cleanup the welds. The Brass wheel seems to be made of special magnetic brass with my magnet test. Yes, the description does clearly state: brass covered steel wire. I just had to check it. So it is, what it states.

Nicely built and I can’t see or feel anything in the construction of these that makes me believe they won’t last just as long as a name brand version I’d pick up at Lowe’s or somewhere else. This kit has a good variety and it will suit my needs.

This set of 4 inch wire wheels is impressive for how inexpensive they are. I always like to expect what I pay for but I would have paid more for this product it works so well and efficiently. This is for a 5/8 adapter, the brushes are designed for a large adapter and look larger than they do in the picture.. The wires have stayed in the brush even after multiple uses, except for the few loose on arrival. The brushes took rust off the bench easily and I highly suggest wearing PPE (personal protective equipment) when using these because they are very efficient but fast!
