These are perfectly bright. They light up red and flash in a really eye catching way, perfect for sitting out in the road or otherwise letting other drivers know that you’re having trouble. They’re waterproof, easy to use, lightweight, and come in an excellent case. The only drawback is that they use 3 AAA batteries a piece, so make sure you have a bunch of batteries with them. They’re not included.

These LED safety lights give motorists clear warning when you are stranded on the roadside. A handy zippered bag keeps the 4 battery powered lights together and dry.

These puck-style LED road flares are a welcome addition to my vehicle emergency kit. Being magnetic, they can stick to a variety of surfaces which opens up placement options. I would have liked it if the manufacturer had included some sort of felt or plastic to sandwich between the magnet and a painted vehicle surface to protect the paint but this is a nice-to-have as in a potentially emergent situation, a scratch on the car isnt really that big of a deal. The LEDs are bright and flashing patterns do a great job of attracting attention. There is some conflicting information in the product description so it is uncertain if these are waterproof or water resistant. Regardless, I turned one on and held it under the faucet as well as tossed it in a bucket. This is definitely water resistant and not waterproof. Water is able enter via the two phillips-head screws that secure the two halves. A gasket in each hole and making the screws semi-captive would solve this. The test unit ended up getting enough water in it during the testing that it stopped working. I will use the extra room in the orange sack to store lithium batteries. Opening and closing these pucks to install the batteries is easy even when wet and using gloved hands. I will be storing lithium batteries separate of these pucks and will put them in if I have a situation that warrants use. Something that I think should be included with this kit is a low-profile phillips-head screwdriver that fits in the bag as this kit is inoperable without one.

Pros: Comprehensive safety protection for your car, truck, boat, ship, or motorbike 9 different flashing modes for different SOS rescue signals Strong suction magnet and hook for easy attachment Warm gift idea for friends or family who enjoy outdoor activities Perfect emergency kit to keep in your car Cons: Batteries not included Overall, I think these LED Road Flares Emergency Lights are a great addition to any car or boat. They are bright, durable, and easy to use. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a safe and reliable way to signal for help in an emergency. Here are some additional details about the lights that I like: The 9 different flashing modes are very useful for different situations. For example, you can use the fast flash mode to warn other drivers of danger, or the slow flash mode to signal for help. The strong suction magnet and hook make it easy to attach the lights to your car or boat. This is important in an emergency, when you may not have time to fumble with a flashlight or other light source. The lights are made of durable materials, so they can withstand the elements. This is important if you live in a climate with extreme weather conditions. The lights are a great gift idea for friends or family who enjoy outdoor activities. They are small and lightweight, so they are easy to take with you on camping trips, hiking trips, or other outdoor adventures. The lights are a perfect emergency kit to keep in your car. They are small enough to take up very little space, and they can be a lifesaver in the event of a car accident or other emergency. I would definitely recommend these LED Road Flares Emergency Lights to anyone looking for a safe and reliable way to signal for help in an emergency.

I knew batteries were not included with these road flare lights, however I didnt expect them to need a total of 12 AAA batteries. Fortunately, I happened to have them on hand so please just know up front youll need that many. In addition, youll need a Phillips screwdriver to take them apart in order to install the batteries. Now on to the good stuff. Theyre bright! So bright in fact, in my opinion they can be used during the day as well as at night. Plus they have quite a few flash modes from which to choose. The flash modes dont exactly match whats described as mine work as follows: quick triple flash strobe, quick double flash strobe, single flash strobe, rotating beacon, S.O.S. Morse Code flash sequence, alternating flash mode, solid light on high, solid light on low and then there are separate bright white LEDs which are a flashlight. Theres a magnet on each one so they can be attached to your car. Im definitely keeping these in my trunk in the unlikely event I have a breakdown. You never know when a flat tire is going to happen.

These LED emergency lights are bright and a good safety device to keep in your car in the event that you need them. They require three AA batteries each and it is recommended that you use high quality batteries so they dont corrode inside the device since (hopefully) you will not need to use them that often and the batteries will be in them for years. The batteries are not included so you will need to purchase twelve batteries for the four devices. The only other negative, a slight nitpick, is that the hook that folds onto the back of the device doesnt open all the way so that when you hang the light it will not be flat. However, that does not impact the performance of the lights at all. Plus, they do have a magnet on the back so you can attach them to a metal surface. The lights have various flashing modes to attract attention and they also have white LEDs on one side so that these devices can be used as a flashlight. For the price these are an inexpensive safety device that you hope never to use but will be glad you have them if you need them. I have one in each of my vehicles emergency kits and strongly recommend them.

Ive been meaning to add some emergency flares to our car kits, but it was a loud, unusual noise on a long road trip last week that convinced me to finally order some (noise was loose lug nuts, so easily fixed). Im really happy with this brand! Opening them up to add in the batteries (3 AAA) was a little involved, but not at all difficult, and at least I know the batteries arent going to fall out and Im not going to lose the cover. The magnet on the back works great--very powerful--and there are 9 unique flashing modes to choose from. Im not sure what the benefits are for each mode, why you might choose one over the other, but all of these modes would get the attention of other drivers and help a tow truck to locate you on a dark or foggy night. These wont fix my car for me next time I hear a loud, troubling noise, but they will make me a bit more visible when Im out on the shoulder tightening lug nuts again.
