his product didnt last long at all, and when I called about it, I couldnt return to Amazon, because it was past return date. Contacting the company took forever, and I never got a resolve...so that was money WASTED!

this USB splitter was just what i needed. simple in design and great way to increase your usb ports and decrease clutter if you tuck it away just right. i placed mine under my laptop stand and connected all my peripherals and dongles to it while using only 1 USB port on the actual laptop itself. i added my bluetooth dongles to this hub and have freed up half the usb ports on my laptop. no need for external power, as all power is provided through the 1 USB connector attached to your computer.

My personal laptop only has one slot and I needed more slots. This tool was plugged into the one slot and now I have a total of 4 slots to use. Love it.

for some reason, I do not have enough slots (dont know what else to call these connection things) on the side of my laptop to plus in head phones, keyboard, 2 terminals, etc., etc., Much better than a wireless keyboard and mouse.

I first received a hub where only 3 of the 7 ports worked. I requested a replacement which seemed to work but once I had a few things plugged in that are bus-powered, only 3 ports work even with a power adapter. So if you need this for bus powered things, it will not work. I did receive the replacement quickly so I was happy with the service and the return through Amazon seems simple enough so I cant complain about that, just the product itself is faulty.

I like the small size, its light weight and ease of use!
