I am an online teacher and new hp laptop did not have enough usb ports. This solved my problem.

I got a new computer for work and it only had one USB port. Argh. I have a usb dongle for my wireless keyboard and keyboard and also have a usb connection for my video camera. What is a person to do? Query “usb extenders” on Amazon and find this listing. I’m not looking to charge any devices, which this clearly indicates is NOT a function of the item. Instead, it allows me to plug in 4 different usb devices at once with ease. I’m not super technical, so I’m not sure if this item has any of particular flaws or latency. But for my rather pedestrian use, it’s sufficient and greatly appreciated.

My laptop has very little USB outlets. I plugged this bad boy in, attached all my usb devices and it’s been working just as intended. Happy buyer

Its really light and connects right away. You dont need anything to install. A popup doesnt need to show up on your computer for it to connect.

Hub provides USB3 speeds and works for intermittent use. Transfer of files larger than 10GB is discouraged as the hub will randomly shutdown during use. Always check your products for UL listing and USB certification. This product has zero such markings, which is honest at least.

I have only just started using this 4-port hub but so far am happy with it. I cannot verify its speed rating but it is working for what I need. It has a feature that I didnt expect which may eventually become helpful: a separate port where you can plug in a USB wall-wart power supply if you want to power devices that need more than your computers USB port can supply.

Does what it should, simple to setup. Just plug in and go. I am a music producer working from a laptop with only 2 USB ports and this seamlessly makes one USB port into 4 ports. Shows its connected with a blue light on the top. Will be sure to buy another in the future to extend the other port. Really lightweight and I felt it all was at a great price!!

I love that this product was cheap and available. Its light and exactly what I needed. My laptop only has one USB ports and girllllll I needed more than that. It works well and I like that it has a bit of an extension which provides me with wiggle room for when Im moving my laptop around

purchased this for my surface and its plug and play. im totally satisfied. 4 stars because I always leave room for improvement.
