I was looking for 4-inch casters with a good locking feature, and these fit the bill. I used these to build a cart for removing and re-installing my built-in oven. The base of the cart is 3/4 inch plywood, and these mount conveniently using four 5/16 carriage bolts obtained locally. The wheels are fairly hard, which suits the application, and they are non-marring. The locking feature holds the cart firmly in place while loading or unloading the oven, but correct orientation of the wheels is important because they can still swivel.
