> 3 dayThese are bigger than they look. They actually stand 5 1/8 high, not 4.1 as the description led me to believe. 4.1 is the wheel diameter. These are very beefy but they turn like theyre on ice. I put four on a fairly hefty workbench I built, and I can now twirl that sucker like a ballerina! The brakes are very strong and lock the swivel as well as the wheels. There is a little shimmy with the wheels locked but I have yet to find casters that dont. This is now my go-to caster set and Ill be going back and replacing all the wheels on all my benches with these.

> 3 dayAwesome wheels. NOTE: These wheels are very big. I used them on a dolly for my Delta Unisaw only to discover that now I need a platform to stand on when using the saw because of the added height. No proble,m with the wheels and so if you application can use a 4 wheel with a 5 overall height then great. My only criticism is that I needed 6 wheels and had to order 8 of them so make them usable for my application.

> 3 dayAllows me to move my workbench easily. Four wheels that swivel and lock even better in my tight spaces.

> 3 dayGreat product. Only thing I would change if I could is the length of the mounting platform - to shorten it about 1/4 and reduce the span between the screw holes in the long direction by 1/4. They work now, but with those changes they would be perfect for mounting to the bottom of standard 4x4 post.

> 3 dayI installed on the bottom of a 75x30” workbench with 4x4 legs as the corners. The casters seem to be well constructed and the locking mechanisms work well to keep this relatively heavy bench in place (no appreciable wobble). For those wondering, the locking mechanism locks both rolling and spinning of the wheel. I’ve only had these casters installed for a couple of weeks, so it’s too early to tell whether or not they will form indentations from the locking mechanism or the pure weight of the bench. One word of caution is that the plate of the caster isn’t a perfect fit for the bottom of a 4x4. I used some spare 1/2” plywood squares Cut slightly larger than the legs as a base to prevent the plate from overhanging. This also made me more comfortable when drilling into the end grain of the table legs.

18-11-2024Well made. The only con is it is not supplied with screws to connect. It requires a 4* 4 surface to attach it.

Greater than one weekReally thought I would be disappointed with these casters. I returned the ones I bought at our local hardware store because these were way better and cheaper. Average cost is about $13 a piece at the hardware store and they are nowhere near the quality of these. HEAVY DUTY. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE if you need casters. Just My two cents.....
