1. The thread colours are coded to DMC, so they are easy to find and replace when you use up a colour. The bobbins have durable marking of the colour code on them. 2. The organization of the colours makes sense, both in the context of DMC colour chart, and also due to the shades and tints according to a classic colour wheel. 3. For the price, the thread is incredibly soft, silky to the touch, and very nice to work with. 4. For the price, the various colours of the threads have the same feel and diameter. I highly recommend this tidy kit, even though the plastic box is a bit thin as has been noted by others in these reviews. I dont really care about the box, as we have wooden boxes lying about most of the time.

Good value for the money.

This was a gift for myself, but would be a great gift to give, too. The compartments within the keeper are tight and will hold floss well. The kit comes with a ton of colors that are marked and organized nicely. There are a few notions that are in the top that are available right when needed. Each level of the keeper snaps to the next layer. They snap very tightly and will probable become easier to snap over time. Great little set. The plastic is not strong it broke almost immediately and now I can not fasten without half the cases hanging down. Loaded with prenumbered and loaded bobbins. Quite a few accessories. Get a stronger case and just use this for projects where you wont need to open and close the box or storage where you wont be using it much.

The tote is a lot smaller than i thought it would be, but it is perfect. The bobbins are all labeled with the DMC numbers.

250 colors of thread then the other 153 is pony beads, needles etc.

Easy way to stay organized. More colors than any other set I could find anywhere else for the value. Plastic ream is marked with color number for easy replacement.

Great case, contains great string and items. My first box was cracked but was quickly replaced. There are repeats of some colors, but it is a great base kit to get you a lot of different colors.
