I thought this 1942 colorful coffee mug would be a great gift to give my brother at the dinner party I am giving him for his 80th birthday. It came in a box that was securely wrapped and at a great price.

This looks cheap and should not be priced over $5. The design is cute and the colors are nice. But I don’t see anything to justify the price of this mug. This is a very basic small, bright white coffee mug. It has the same design on both sides. For the price, it’s lacking pizazz. I took a picture comparing this to a few other mugs that cost about $5 at Target. You can see those mugs are larger with a more unique shape. Their color is more off- white with a contrast color glazed inside. This mug lacks all of those features to make it special. This mug looks like it came out of a kids “paint it yourself” coffee mug craft kit.

Perfect gift for a deserving friend!!

My Aunt loved this mug for her 75th birthday. I added a small orchid to it and it became the party centerpiece.

Normal size mug - not huge, not small. Practical. The mug says it all. Gave as gift and she loved it.

Gave them as gifts. Recipients loved them.
