Greater than one weekI was grateful when I hooked this docking station up and it just worked. The last one I had, worked, but every once in a while 2 of my monitors would go blank for several seconds, which made it very difficult to work, but this one hasnt had any issues. The dock is great, but it would be nice if all the rarely used ports like the HDMI, power and Ethernet were all in the back and everything else was in the front, and maybe add a couple more USB ports too.

> 3 dayThis USB docking station requires USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3 or 4 to properly extend your monitor. It has a thin and solid build, and I particularly like the metal case. Even during 10+ hours of continuous daily usage even with some intensive gaming, I was surprised that it didnt even get warm. The ambient temperature ranges between 68 to 72 degrees. My second surprise was that although the docking station is advertised to only support 2 extended monitors at 1080P @ 60Hz, it actually supports both my 4K and QHD monitors at 60Hz simultaneously. Additionally, it works perfectly with my internal laptop monitor at 1080P @ 60Hz, which means I have a total of three monitors working seamlessly together.

Greater than one weekI like the way it connects instant. It takes so less space and still makes so big impact. You should definitely buy it for clean desk

> 3 dayI recently purchased this docking station, and it is easy to use. I just plugged in the cables, and everything worked, and the quality of the display was excellent. I also like how it can be used as a stand to hold the laptop, or i can have the laptop open to use its display. I would recommend this docking station and will purchase it again in the future.

> 3 dayThe concept is great. I have a hybrid laptop so I can stand it up in open position or fold over edges if I still want to use the laptop screen. I did not realize a power supply did not come with it but I had one for it. The ports are just enough to supply everything I need. Great product.

Greater than one weekThis review is on the 4URPC docking station. I have had this dock for almost a month. I am a fan of docking stations because they just make sense. They provide the ability to use your notebook as a desktop with a minimum amount of effort. By this I mean that you set your notebook down and connect just one cable and you are in business. In my setting I am using a Dell XPS 15 notebook. This is a high powered notebook- i9 processor, lots of memory and a 130-watt power supply. I have the 130-watt power supply connected to the dock which in turn supplies power to the notebook. I only have to plug a single usb-c cable from the dock to the notebook to become functional. I have the following devices connected to the dock: • two monitors connected via HDMI cables. • a wireless keyboard/mouse connected via usb • a webcam connected via usb • an external hard drive via usb • a wired ethernet connection Everything works fine. There is one issue with the dock which I will address. This dock is designed to support a notebook computer vertically to save space on the desk. If someone’s work required them to frequently take their notebook with them when they left their desk then this dock would be a good solution, because you simply unplug one cable and you’re good to go. However, if you leave your notebook at your desk most all the time then you will come across this issue. If you shut down your computer you cannot turn on the computer unless you remove it from the stand, open it up and then press the power button. At that point you return it to the stand and use it normally. This is somewhat of a hassle. I have used a Dell notebook dock which has the same functionality as the 4URPC, but in addition it has a power button on the dock itself. This means if the computer is connected to the dock, you do not need to open it up and press the power button to begin using your computer. This is my suggestion: Add a power button to the dock to be able to power-on the computer. This may or may not be an issue for others. In addition to the Dell, I have tested this dock with an ASUS Chromebook. It worked fine with the Chromebook. If you are considering this dock, just be aware this is designed for commuters that are powered by usb-C. If your computer does not get power by a usb-C cable, then you should look for another dock.

> 3 dayI tried other docking stations prior to the one. The issue I had with the other stations was that the stations took a long time for the station to charge the laptop while using it. Hence, I thought I would have the same charging issue. I have NO problems with the charging time on my mac via the docking station; even though I have the station plugged into an electrical wall USB-c outlet. . The best feature of the docking station is the compact casing which requires little desk space. Another nice feature is the station allows me access to dual 4K external monitors. For people the are not technically inclined, don’t work the dock is plug-and-play

> 3 dayHave been using MS Surface Dock 2, however, have noticed possible issue with the 2 display port, so, was looking around for an alternative. Browsed through Amazon, and after clarifying with 4URPC to be sure that it is compatible with Surface Pro, and added to my wishlist. 4URPC later informed me of this new product of theirs. Some of my thoughts: 1. The packaging is simple enough. 2. Fuss-free connecting up the cables. 3. Can work together with the existing Surface Dock 2, so, i ended up having extra 3 USB ports besides the 4 on the Surface Dock 2. 5. Instead of placing the Surface Pro between the handles, i was able to place 2 portable HDDs. 6. The SD card on the Surface at times will get dismounted, now i can use the SD card slot on this device, easily accessible, in my setup. Works great with Surface Pro. [1-May-2023 updates] The support team has been pretty prompt. Unfortunately the set that Ive received seems to have a bit of faulty USB 3 as they get disconnected while copying many files in one go. Just have to be mindful not to do so. Missing in the manual is the use of external power source so that the device would run more smoothly.

> 3 dayIll start out with my only complaint, and that it doesnt have any USB-C ports other than the power in and the host port, so all accessories have to be with USB or HDMI, which is ok! The good - the unit supports two monitors seamlessly. Currently I have an LG widescreen and a Samsung Smart monitor, and there are no issues. I like the SD card slot as my Surface Pro 7 has limited onboard memory. Overall I think this is a good device for the cost and would not hesitate purchasing another if I needed it. Speaking of which, I have 2 of their previous models which I have also enjoyed!
