I like the set and the holder. I cut some of the sponges in half and they still hold up well.

Make up sponges are like pillows to me. Soft, medium, firm, there are a lot different kinds. These are what I would consider firm. They don’t squish while applying liquid foundation. The first couple uses absorbed more of the foundation than my skin, but after a couple applications the foundation didn’t absorb into the sponge, but stayed on my skin. Love that there is a holder for the sponge too. Prevents the sponge from getting dirty on the sink.

Luv these sponge set! They are a pretty purple, soft and comfortable sponges. They expand to a nice size when they get wet. They are washable, easy to clean and can be air dried in the holder. I like the canister they came in. Keeps them clean until theyre ready to be used. They mix and blend foundations well and provides flawless coverage around the nose and eye areas.

These work well. They seemed promising upon opening them and the packaging was nice. I washed them all first before using. They didn’t soak up too much makeup when using and applied well to my face. I don’t have any complaints about them thus far!

This set of makeup sponges work very well to apply concealer under my eyes. They expand nicely when dampened and really do a nice job blending it into my skin. I do not wear foundation very often, but I have found that these sponges work well to apply it as well. I love the adorable and functional little holder that comes with them. It is so decorative that I can leave it on my bathroom counter while my sponge dries without feeling the need to put it out of sight.

These are nice sponges and they come in a package of five so, I have plenty to be able to use some while Im cleaning some. They work great to apply foundation and the application is easy and smooth. I do prefer to use sponges after dampening. The package has a wire spiral at the bottom that I think is just meant to be decorative and it is very pretty. But I like to use it on my vanity top to hold the sponge Im currently using. Its more hygienic and keeps every thing neater.

This is a lovely set of five blenders with a nice metal holder. The sponges are dense. Less dense sponges soak up more liquid make-up than the denser ones. These are typical egg-shaped sponges that are good for blending or any large make-up application. These feel good in the hands, blend well, and feel soft against my skin. These blenders make a great gift for the make-up obsessed. I love that the sponges do not smell bad. I also love the black color because it doesnt show make-up stains as badly as the lighter colored blenders. These sponges are similar in style to all of the others that I tried before this. To me what set of sponges to buy all comes down to the price and the angles one wants on the sponges as well as whether it is for gifting or not. The colors are important too - at least to me. The current price of $9.99 comes to $2 per sponge if counting the metal holder as a freebie. If I divide by all six pieces (5 sponges and metal holder), then this comes to $1.67 per item. This is on the high side of competitively priced.

Price is reasonable for the amount of sponges you get and I like that it came with a holder. The sponges themselves are OK & like others have said, they are dense compared to others on the market. They work though!
