This adapter allows you to plug your 30-amp cord into a 50-amp outlet. You still can only run 30-amps thru your 30-amp cord, but at least you can use the 50-amp outlet to do so. It has a good solid grip for unplugging, not one that will break off when pulling on it. Would definitely buy again, if I ever needed another one.
