Very happy with the arrival of the Schmetz quilting sewing machine needles. Moving right along with a project and dont ever need to worry about a broken needle. These hold up very well.

I had been buying sewing machine needles as and when I could get them on sale at the local craft store but was met with them being out of stock more often than not. Buying in bulk was a more affordable solution for me since I go through sewing machine needles quite fast. I use these quilting sewing machine needles for patchwork, quilt piecing, machine quilting, and freehand or free motion embroidery. These needles remain sharp after several projects making them a great option for beginners. I have used these needles on several sewing machines including: -vintage 1950s Pfaff 130 (see pictures that go with this review) -vintage 1960s Kenmore 177.581 -antique 1912 Singer treadle sewing machine -Singer Heavy Duty 4452 These needles are a universal fit that have worked beautifully in all of these sewing machines. Theyre great for a new sewer using an older machine or any basic modern machine. I love that this is a bulk buy so I have plenty of sewing machine needles to keep me sewing over a number of months depending on how much Im sewing!

My first time ordering needles online, wanted a trusted name. Trying to quilt, didn’t realize needles should be changed so frequently. Grew up in a rarely sewing house, we only changed needles if they were broken! So far so good with these needles.

I have always used Schmetz Quilting Needles in my machines, it is nice to be able to get so many for the price.
