It comes wrapped up in an oval. It is a tad difficult to get the curve out. But you have to otherwise the hem will follow the direction the braid is curving. Using low heat, a damp ironing cloth, and multiple passes, I was able to get remove the curves and get it straightened out. Otherwise it sews nicely and is quality - doesnt easily crack.

This is NOT 50 yards. I am at the end of my dress left with not enough horsehair braid to finish.

Looks gray not actually white.

This is the thinnest horsehair Ive ever seen. It will still work fine, but this is not quality horsehair. I work in the bridal industry, and it should be much harder. Considering the price, I guess I shouldnt have expected much

I needed a stiff one, it was too late before i checked the condition i couldnt return it i am really unsatisfied.

It was dark blue instead of black.

Great width would have loved for it to be a little stiffer but it got the Jon done
