It is a somewhat different texture from the clear airline tubing Ive used in the past, but functions the same so far. It fades more easily in to the background in my fish tank and is thus far not showing any sign of algae (Im sure theres some growing on it, it is just more difficult to discern due to the dark color) which is just what I was going for.
