I tried other Switch protectors and this one really does the job as described. I am glad to have purchased this product and would definitely recommend to others.

price point did seem just a smudge too high but a month in & no issues.

We have installed new fixtures and a dimmable switch on a 3 way switch set up. One day it mysteriously stopped working....We couldnt figure it out. Until we looked at the other traditional switch, it was apparently switched off and this caused the power to no longer be going to the dimmer switch. We used this switch lock to help prevent this from happening since it is a switch in the middle of a bank of 4 switches next to the front door. My husband took the lock plate into his shed and with a little dremmel/grinder/whatever he used work and made it so screws are set to countersink as was mentioned in a previous review. Worked like a charm and while you can see it if you are looking it isnt very noticeable at all.

I was frequently turning off my outside security light when I came in at night and was reaching for the room light switch. Now thats not a problem. I locked the security light switch on.

This product is great! it is straightforward and does exactly what you need it to. Prevents the toggle switch from being flipped! I needed this because we got an investment property with some funky wiring. The switch to the main living room had 3 toggles that each controlled a different light. Except the last one... the 3rd toggle controlled outlets in the living room! Fine and dandy if you setup your lamps to the outlets... not so great when it is the outlet needed for your Television and internet router! Being an investment property specifically for AirBNB I needed to make sure the internet was not turned off or it would interfere with the alarm system I have installed. I need access to it in order to remotely change the code to the door lock. My problem was when guests would leave, not knowing what the switch was for, they would turn off all 3 toggles! OOF! This little product was the perfect lifesaver! I mean who wants to pay for an electrician to fix it when things like this exist!!! Buy this if you have a situation that is similar. You wont regret it and no one ever notices it is installed until they try to flip the switch! haha.

The unit works well. I use it to make sure two outside lights stay on.

I have a lot of Hue bulbs - which only work if they are powered. These help keep people from turning off my smart lights, but are fairly unobtrusive so you don’t really notice them.

Those fit perfectly and are the least visible option from all I found. Since its transparent, it works for any plate color - no need to color match. Seem to be rather durable as Ive tightened the screws pretty hard and it didnt snap. P.S. Remember to remove the protective film from both sides!
