6 Pack Stainless Steel Sponges, Scrubbing Scouring Pad, Steel Wool Scrubber for Kitchens, Bathroom and More

I love this product we have always used brillo pads or scotch brite pads. The former work but quickly rust so the latter are not durable and can easily tear on tougher jobs. These sponges allow you to cut off a desired portion and scrub to your hearts content. I made the mistake of just taking a whole ball the first few times. I was not expecting these sponges to be so durable they can take a beating.

I don’t like using this stuff in general because it destroys the surface of the pots and pans. However my mother in law likes it. So I bought them for her. She’s responsible for destroying them. She swears by the utility of these things.

These are a soft scrubber. It is less abrasive than simular scrubber. I honestly dont think they are worth the price they charge for them but if you do a lot of scrubbing without gloves, these would probably be gentler to your hands.

My local grocery store no longer stocks these things. I was really glad to find them on Amazon. My grocery store has the copper ones. I find the copper ones are not really safe. The copper wires break and leave sharp ends which scratches my hands. These are much better. I find them indispensable in cleaning roasting pans and broiling pans that spend time in the oven.

The first one I pulled out of the package pulled one of the metal fibers loose. Theyre thin fibers. Food gets stuck in it and get difficult to clean it. It cleans, but didnt get cleaned. Very disposable.

When theres lots of company, food, and always a cleanup, I have been noticing that I can go through 2 or 3 regular Steel Wool Soap pads in a cleanup. I thought back to my Navy days and being assigned on ship to 3 months of cleaning pots (the Scullery: 7 days a week, 12 hours a day). These are the things we used (a little tougher though -- we had to wear heavy rubber gloves). I decided to give these a try. I just use them with regular dishwashing liquid. Now, two months after I bought them, Im still using the first one.

These steel sponges are great for cleaning any cast-iron or any carbon steel pans. We cook quite a bit in these pans but they do get dark overtime if you’re not cleaning them properly. I’ve been really lazy with mine and just decided to order these to do a deep cleaning of my pans. You can see in the pictures where I was really scrubbing and where the particles were able to come off. You can also see the black on the edges of the pan that I didn’t yet scrub. These are really great and easy to use and a whole pack might last you a year. Well worth the money.Well worth the money

These scrubbers actually do not rust. After months of light use: no rust. Great home for home kitchen. I was surprised to find that some glass could be easily cleaned with stainless scrubbers, such as coffee pots, glass baking pans and oven door glass. (Test first and dont press hard). Ill be hitting the order again button.
