They do exactly what they are supposed to do; filter coffee grounds efficiently and quickly. Plus, the Hario carafe is an aesthetically attractive and durable piece of kitchenware (unless you drop it on a concrete floor).

I have gotten famous brands of filters for pour over coffee, store brands too and they open at the bottom of the filter so every thing washes into my cup. Hario seams on the filters have never failed me. The last thing I want to do is fool around with grounds in my coffee first thing in the morning.
