Love the thread I am more then satisfied the colors are true & silky great .. The bobbins are awful they are too tall to fit in my machine casing so I re threaded it to one of my bobbins but the thread is so thick & heavy it is not compatible with embroidery thread , it tangles & pulls & embroidery thread keeps breaking, they are terrible.

I love using this new thread! It is very durable 100% polyester thread and stitches beautifully in my embroidery machine without any special adjustments. It fills designs wonderfully and has a subtle and beautiful sheen. Satin stitches look amazing done in this thread as well, and also very fine details stand out well. Im so please with this thread - it definitely stands up to the kinds of designs I enjoy creating, and Im eager to have this beautiful resource available for making more beautiful things!

This thread is much better than the no-name brand, shiny, 112 Large Spools Embroidery Machine Thread for Brother/Babylock/Bernina/Pfaff/Janome, I bought cheap from Embroidex. I thought the constant breaking and clogging my machine was normal for all these years. Thank you YouTube for helping me see the light. I no longer have to sit at the machine and reset the thread every couple of minutes.

Good starter kit

My order came very quickly and was just as advertised and very well packaged for shipping! I didnt write my review right away because I wanted to test the thread against what I have been using for 30+ years in business (Im now retired but still embroider!). I ran identical designs with compatible colors and I can see no difference in the thread at all, design ran flawlessly with both brands. I have only washed the two items twice but can see no running or dulling of colors. I especially love the smaller 500-meter cones, many colors are used infrequently and dont justify buying a 1000-meter cone which means I can buy more shades of thread! Larger cones are available to purchase for those colors you use a lot. The advantage I see for Brothreads over my previous favorite threads is the cost. I recommend Brothreads.

Before I go into further detail about my package, I will give a little history. I have been embroidering for at least 3 years. I have 1 multi needle machine and another brother machine. I have purchased everything from Floriana, Robinson Anton, Isacord, Metro, Exquisite, etc because I like to see how other threads stitch out. I ordered this set because once in a while, I need a random color but dont need to go out and buy the whole spool. I thought this would fit the bill and give the opportunity to try another thread. These are half the size of other threads so the price isnt a good deal as originally thought. Metro is only $1 a spool for 1000m. It is the best budget thread available. Now onto my review of the package: I am in a little bit of shock. I opened the box and all appeared to be in nice condition. I get to the bottom layer and start looking at the mess. It was an obvious box of returns that have been tested. The wrapping was gone, thread was everywhere and tangled and the labels broken furthering proof it was tested on a machine and returned. Five spools were like this. I started going through the enclosed card to see what I got. There were doubles of some colors, others were missing. This has totally left me scratching my head. I did a small stitch out just to test the thread and that monogram looked good. I will test more and follow up

I am very happy I chose this amount rather than a smaller quantity. The colors are vibrant and it has a great variety of shades. There did seem to be a slight lacking in the brown colors but I can fill in anything I need. My three year old son loves looking at the colors and picking for projects. I did learn quickly though to let him choose from the enclosed color chart. Packaged well and well labeled I only had to get a wooden holder and I was ready to go. Works great with my Brother SE600!
