> 24 hourThere is a slight delay before it works. I installed this 6 volt flasher on my 1972 Yamaha DT250. I was a little confused at first expecting it to work as quick as I switch on the turn signals, there is a solid tone at first then it beeps off and on and the turn signals work great, its a quicker flash than youre used too. The connector marked black is the source power. My dirt bike has a weak 6 volt system with a tiny battery and it works great and the outside diameter was the perfect size to fit on the existing clamp where my old flasher fits. But remember it has a slight 2 second delay before it starts working, youll get a solid tone first then a on-off tone next.

> 24 hourJust to clarify for other users, regarding the use of this with LED blinker/lights. This seems obvious but Ill state it anyway. You must presently have a two prong flasher in order to use this. Two prong Flashers like these require at least one ordinary incandescent light bulb to properly flash. If you replaced your 4 blinker incandescent light bulbs with LED replacements, even though you have a two prong flasher, this will not work for you. If you already replaced all your incandescent blinker bulbs with LED replacements, then you already had to change the original flasher to one that will operate the 4 LED blinkers. And again, this flasher would not operate your 4 LED lights. If you have a vehicle that originally came with an all LED light system, you probably dont have a two prong flasher because an all LED system uses an electronic black box to perform the flashing function, and thus you would not have a two prong flasher to put this in place of. Hope this explanation helps someone.

> 24 hourWired it to my 86 jeep. The signal on the dash is not very visible, so with the top down and the sun I can not see it ,Now I can hear it, Flasher is polarity sensitive may have to reverse wires of the jeep plug to work.

> 24 hourPlugged right into the existing base. Just the right sound level- loud enough to hear if the turn signal is left on, not too loud to be annoying.

> 24 hourUPDATE - I thought the tape had permanently muted the sound, however it has magically regained its former loudness. Has worked fine ever since. Plugged into my golf cart and it worked as described. I put tape over the beeper hole to mute the extremely loud sound and it must have damaged the speaker. The sound became very low after about 4 or 5 beeps. After removing the tape, the beeping is now a much more agreeable level. A good problem I guess.

> 24 hourIt is a simple product that may work universally, but most Honda flashers have an X and L marked on them for reference. This one did not.

> 24 hourI installed this in a hot rod, an open car with a noisy V8. The repeater lamps on the dashboard are not very bright, hard to see in daytime sun. Between the engine and the road noise, Id often find my turn signal was flashing as I drove down the road; the steering wheel action had been insufficient to cancel it. This flasher makes a beeping noise that is loud enough so Im always aware when my turn signal is flashing. I removed the black rubber piece in the photo before I installed it - perhaps thats for a motorcycle mounting; it seems it would provide vibration isolation.

> 24 hour5/9/2021 update; After I ride from two days. I change the rating from one star to three star. It look that this device sound loud after is on from a while. It should be loud for the beginning to the end. I was thinking to get a second one a better one. I decided to stay with the old one. Please ignore the first rating.

> 24 hourReplace all four signals on my 2001 Suzuki GS500 with LED signals. They would not flash with the stock flasher. They flash like normal now. It does have a loud beep every time they flash, but it worked!
