They’re matte and the claws slide into my hair really well. My hair is super thick and you can see how long it is. They’re super cute and affordable. I have a LOT of hair and also LONG, LONG hair! I have my hair up the majority of the day, while I’m working and at home. These are very sturdy and have held my long heavy hair up! The problem I came across by a lot was the fact that my hair was so long and heavy the hair clips would crack. These have held up thus far even when my hair is wet. Of note, my hair goes is past my shoulders and goes slightly above my hips. Overall, very sturdy, the variety of colors it comes with facilitates me using them with different outfits and they are large! Highly recommend!

Bought these for their wider size hoping it would fit my thick hair. Just barely too small, won’t hold up all of my hair. Still use them for a half up / half down look.
