These clips have really good grip. My hair type is thick and straight.

I put my long, thick hair up with this claw clip and it stayed in place 12 + hours without requiring any adjustment, AND it was comfortable. Rating for durability was omitted, as time will tell if the spring mechanisms and plastic are made to last.

Got these on a deal and my daughter and I love them! We both have very thick hair so it’s hard to find clips that will hold all day. And where we live, the square style is hard to find in stores. I was excited when I read a lot of reviews that’s said these were good for thick/long hair but these don’t hold mine very well. My hair is just past the middle of my back and fairly thick-not crazy thick and these clips will hold for a bit but I have to readjust them a lot. I have a scrunchi brand one from a drugstore that has better hold than these.
