The description for these hairclips sounded really good so we gave them a try... we were NOT disappointed!! I am a male writing a review about these hairclips because I was truly impressed by their holding power with my daughters thick hair! She is Hispanic with thick hair that made it very difficult to find a hairclip that could hold her hair up. She is an athlete and when at home practicing in the yard she likes to put her hair up out of the way. She wanted something quick and easy as a hairclip, but we could never find that to hold her hair while she was active outside... until today!! The Good: - Great size to hold her hair up and out of her face! Not too big where it is in the way and not too small where it cant do what it is designed to do. - The hairclip has a very strong spring that keeps it closed. Honestly, the spring is a little too strong for my 13yr daughter sometimes, but she manages to get it on anyway. - The inside of the hairclip has small plastic teeth going the opposite direction as the bigger teeth which help hold it in place. This hairclip is designed to not fall out on its own. Very smart! - The colors are not bright and cheap looking at all. My daughter is very happy with the colors the way they are and so am I. Not too flashy. - The plastic is a good thickness and very sturdy. I feel this will last a good long while. The Bad: - None, we love these clips!

I really like the shape of these hair claws. The toothed part is curved, so sits nore naturally on my skull, and the rectangular shape helps a quick updo look more modern and intentional, less like an afterthought when racing out of the house! Nice muted colors, and the claws seem strong. They feel like they should last a long while. A single claw can hold all of my hair or part of my hair with no pulling or slippage. A great value for the money.

Finally a hair clip that works. This is not a flimsy one as so many others are. This one means business. And thats what I was looking for. There are a total of eight clips, so there is always one laying around the house and the colors are of a nice variety. Thumbs up.

This might be user error but it doesnt hold my hair very well. I cut my hair from my waist to my collar bones and I try to twist it up out of my face but it wont hold it. I do have thick hair but there is so much less of it now. If you have thinner hair and can tightly roll then maybe perfect.

I have been looking for cute claw clips that actually hold all my hair in place!! These are so cute and easy! I love the trendy style and matte colors too!

These are well made and worth the money but I personally didnt like them that well in MY hair. Not that anything was wrong with them. I just realized I wanted something nicer.

These clips are HUGE, and I love them. I have thick curls and some clips wont even stay up on my head because of my hair but thats not the case with these. These have a great hold for my hair. The bonus hair scrunchy I received is also nice and shiny, thank you! The matte colors of the clips are a really nice bonus too, they couldve been ugly, and I would have used them for their hold. Very distinctive and good looking. They could be great as stocking stuffers.

All 8 claw clips came in perfect condition, every one of them are very strong and sturdy. I have EXTREMELY thick hair and im always having to use a hair tie then the claw clip or just a metal clip but this has solved my issues. best product everrrrrr!!
