Greater than one weekProduct does come with two metal plus one plastic bristle brush pens and replacements. The product is cheaply made so taking the existing brush to put a replacement literally destroys the pen itself so it is pretty much impossible to use that replacement with the existing pen. The brushes are also very weak and flimsy so they dont offer much brushing. I gave it three stars because the metal brushes are more useful but not much.

> 3 dayI wanted a fiberglass pencil to clean electrical contacts and this set had several materials other than the fiberglass. That said, i have used the fiberglass and the steel wire variants…. One to clean a network connector and the other to clean corrosion off the contact in a grill igniter. The steel one worked great. The fiberglass is a tad soft and it does work….but i have had one in the past that was about 20% stiffer and in general was better. Overall you cant go wrong and they give a couple extra inserts. Worth the purchase!

> 3 dayIt is surprisingly difficult to find fiberglass scratch brushes for electronics. I have been using this for a week or so and the fiberglass cleans traces well and I find myself using the nylon and brass more than I expected. The nylon is good for cleaning solder joints where you need something firmer to get old flux off or baked on crud. This set came with replacement brushes, I have no idea if the bodies will last that long. As mentioned in other reviews the bodies are a little on the cheap side. For the price it wouldnt be painful if I had to buy a new set every year. It would be nice if someone would make a really nice sturdy set, something you would keep for a lifetime. One of my friends who does electronic repair has a 3/4 fiberglass scratch brush and he said it was really expensive. I couldnt find one so this will do.
