8 SJTOW Power Cord 10/3 6-30P to Roj 6 Strip 1/2

Received this cable today from OCS Parts. Appears to be well made. Cable markings (and marking on the plug) show that it is UL and CUL listed. Based on the listing number on the cable, this is true (verified on UL website). Now the specs that were not mentioned on Amazon: 1) It is made by Ningbo XuanHua Electric Company, LTD (Chinese address is listed on UL). 2) Marking on the cable are (UL) SJTOW 3/C 10AWG 105 (degree) C 300V VW-1 E313857 100030-765 * C(UL) SJTOW 3/C 10AWG (5.25 mm2) 105C 300V FT1 Ningbo XuanHua 3) Marking on plug is XH209, XUAN HUA, E257089, C-UL-US (UL logo) 4) Wires are copper stranded, plug contacts appear to be brass (non-magnetic so no plated iron here) 5) Outer jacket appears to be around 9/16, individual conductors (black, white, green) are a little over 3/16 After I install in the intended equipment I will modify review if necessary. Right now looks like a good cable at a reasonable price ($20).

I wanted a tidy looking plug for a car charger. I didnt want a regular clam shell screw together hardware store version. This one looks like a factory plug.

This power cord is perfect for my new air compressor. It’s not the cheapest cord out there, but it’s definitely a better quality than most of the cords I’ve seen. I’d recommend/buy it again in a heart beat.

Wire was pre stripped and ready to hook up to my milling machine control box. The plug worked well and the wire is heavy enough to power this machine without any heating up of the wiring.
