What can I say that hasnt been said before? Its a rechargable wireless SNES controller. It syncs up quickly and easily and its just as responsive and well made as an original SNES controller. Totally worth the money. Now my 5 year old can play my old SNES and we dont have to worry about him pulling it off the entertainment center!

I just bought two of these: one SNES and one Famicon. I was dubious as Ive had 3rd party controllers before that were mediocre at best, but with my current tv setup, wireless was a necessity. They work perfectly! No wireless issues whatsoever, excellent button response, clear little LED indicators on the top for charging and use. I do like the concave Y and X buttons of the SNES controller better than the all-convex buttons on the Famicom and was thinking of exchanging that one so both were SNES, but the color coordination is great for teaching my 4 year old how to play. Press the green button! I am beyond happy with these controllers and would recommend them for anyone that wants wireless SNES controllers. Absolutely perfect.

weak shoulder buttons broke after a month or so. this may be fine if you dont play fighters often, but i do. otherwise the gamepad is great, no delay that i noticed - size and weight are comparable to the original equipment and its even color matched to the sf console. really wanted to like these as they are better looking than the originals imo. well, what can you do, chinese build quality strikes again. maybe not a deal breaker for you but for the asking price this should not be an issue. cannot recommend for any kind of regular use.

Summary with more details below: Wireless works well with no issues with the receiver - lag is not discernible and overall design is very close to the standard controller. The D pad still has some issues holding one direction but pressing a diagonal. I am an avid old school gamer and was very excited about this product as I had tried Bluetooth controllers from 8Bitdo before but the lag was too much as I am sensitive to input lag (pressing a button and delay of the action on the screen). To test out the controller I used a SNES on a CRT TV. I am comparing this controller to the original SNES controllers. I played through some of my favorite games including Megaman X, X2, and X3, Super Castlevania VI, and Contra III. It was very easy to set up. The receiver fit into the SNES without any issues and synced with the controller without issues. I did not experience any issues with loss of connectivity and the battery lasted through all the above mentioned games with a complete play through of Megaman X and X2 and parts of the X3, Super Castlevania VI and Contra III. Playing through the Megaman X series was really where the controller was great. The game felt natural and when I had tried other bluetooth controllers in the past the timing felt off. The timing with this controller was on par with the original. The only small issue I noticed was occasionally it felt like I had to push the buttons slightly harder than the original controller to compress the button. Occasionally a mega buster would release prior to releasing the button. Super Castlevania IV - I did not have much of an issues with playing this game with the controller. Again there was the occasional spot where I would be hanging on by the whip on areas that you hold down the attack button to attach to an area to swing and there were times where the button would release if I just barely released any pressure which was different from the original controller. Contra IV - This was the game that really I had a lot of trouble compared to the original. The biggest issue was with the D pad and when I would try to duck by pressing down it would almost happen on a regular basis that I would end up going diagonal left or right which would cause my player to stand up and walk which resulted in loss of life. I found the game almost unplayable compared to the original controller since it is a fast paced game. Still I did not discern any input lag. In comparison to the SN30 equivalent for the SNES classic, this controller is pretty much equivalent. Overall this is the best wireless option for the SNES to date due to no discernible input lag. Again the only complaint is the D pad and occasional early releases of the buttons. If it was not for the issue with the D pad, I would give a 5 star rating. With that said, I am happy that 8bitdo continues to put out new controllers for retro systems and would not hesitate to recommend this controller as the best wireless option for original SNES. Edit: I compared the controller side by side against the wireless for SNES classic and the issue with accidental diagonal movement while pressing down is not as bad on this controller as it was with the classic version. Overall again, best wireless controller to date for the SNES (would give 4.5).

I could never get the bluetooth version that released alongside the Super NT to work to my liking no matter how much tinkering I did. I figured, based on some of the other reviews I saw, these might need a little fine-tuning to eliminate false diagonals, but I was wrong - the controller works perfectly out of the box. Comparing this to an OEM SNES controller with new membranes, Im hard pressed to tell the difference. In terms of feel and responsiveness, its 1-to-1. Im mainly using this on my PC via USB cable and I have no complaints whatsoever. Plugged it in, set my button configuration, and Im good to go.

I bought this controller with mixed feelings as seeing the reviews for it were a lot of negative comments. I set it up and I was ready to go. I was playing Street fighter 2 and the d-pad stopped working. Then a little bit later the buttons started inputting stuff that I wasnt trying to do. At this point I realized that the controller wasnt charged very much. Like they didnt charge the controller before they mailed it to me. So I let the controller charge overnight. In the morning tested three or four games and it works like a charm. Let your controller charge people.

Really awesome build quality, response time is super fast, couldnt notice any latency. Didnt even have to charge the units, just turned them on and they are ready to go. Buttons are very nice, and you can even hook these up to your PC

This Controller is Fantastic! It feels and looks just like an original Snes Controller. In my case the controller actually felt better than my original Snes controllers due to age. Once you connect the controller plug into the console, turn it on, press start and thats it! Keep in mind this controller is designed to be used with your original Super Nintendo Entertainment System, so it will not work on other platforms/systems without some kind of an adapter. After a couple minutes of use i noticed that there is a slight input delay, i am using a Retrotink2x upscaler for a virtually lagless experience. The input delay could be worsened depending on the equipment you use potentially including wireless interference from other devices. The input delay has tripped me up here and there but overall isnt that bad and i think its something that with a little time you can get around it. Overall, very happy with this product and highly recommend!

These are great. I bought the Jap style ones and nes to snes adapters to use in my game room for NES. The NES controller is awful so I was very excited about this solution. They worked so well I bought the US ones to use for SNES.

Great product, I recently just finished in my basement and made a game room with all my consoles. This works like a charm on my original SNES. I pre-ordered this a few weeks ago and it actually came a day early. I no longer have to drag a wired controller with an extension to my couch now. 5 stars all the way
