Its tall enough to fold the top edge over the brush heads before rolling them up which keeps them from falling out and this canvas also allows them to dry out. There are a variety of sized slots to slide the brushes in which accommodates my range of brushes. I do a lot of en plein air painting and this keeps my brushes together and easy to see. I have two so I can keep one set of brushes packed and ready to go at a moments notice.

> 24 hourThis paint brush holder is probably one of the best things Ive purchased since I became a painter! It was the biggest roll up holder I could find that held the most. I was able to fit all my painting essentials and then some. It has 30 slots, but some of my paint brushes are super thin so I could fit 59 brushes, knives and sponges in mine. I have some thicker paint brushes too and those fit snug in the small slots. The canvas is thick and sturdy which I love, and the pattern on the back is beautiful! The string that ties it together is thick and definitely long enough to tie even though I packed it full. I would recommend this to all!
