> 24 hour[Installed on someone elses car] I was using a piece of wood to hold up the hood which was fine but always in the back of my mind that the hood could fall on my head. Prior to this I hadnt replaced or installed hood struts/dampeners before So I was a little nervous. I used a curved pick to pull back the clips on the ends of the old ones and swapped them right out. I thought something was wrong with them at first because before installing my spaghetti arms couldnt get them to compress but once they were in it was a breeze. Quick, easy and super satisfying.

> 24 hour2010 Crosstour, they fit perfectly. Spring clip each end. Small flat blade screw driver to release clip and remove old one then just press on the new one.... less than 1 minute per strut...piece of cake !

> 24 hoursub zero temps makes the shock dampers useless after a couple of years. These are great replacements and easy to install yourself. The Honda dealership wanted 263$ to replace only the hood dampeners, and I started laughing at them. It took less than ten minutes to replace both good and hatchback struts and its good as new. Id recommend these.

> 24 hourBought these for a 2012 Honda Crosstour. I was very skeptical about the quality for the price paid but first off, these things were packed securely. Amazon has a bad habit now a days shipping things in bags to save on shipping. These were bubble wrapped individually and packed in a box. Bravo. Secondly , they are a exact fit and work (for now). Not sure how long they will last but they work right now flawlessly.
