Greater than one weekMy daughter has a 2011 Ford Edge and loves it. She typically uses Waze for GPS purposes however she mentioned that there has been a time or two where cell service dropped and she needed guidance for mapping. She turned on her car GPS and it re routed her a bit because the new exit placed off the highway in the past few years was not recognized by her older GPS software. Enter the need for an update. She is not tech savvy and had ZERO issue installing the card. Its as simple as removing the old one and replacing it with this new one. It updated all streets and locations of interest automatically and without issue. She gives it 5* for ease of install, value and peace of mind.

How to Update Ford GPS Navigation SD CARD PLUG & PLAY EASY INSTALL
- Turn off the vehicle.
- Locate the SD card slot. Most slots are located on the center console or behind the small door on the dashboard. Consult your Owner"s Manual for assistance, if needed.
- Remove the old SD card. Your SD card slot is spring loaded. To remove the SD card, simply push the card in and release it. Do not try to pull the card out without pushing it in, as this may cause damage.
- Insert the new navigation SD card into the SD card slot until it clicks.
- Start the engine to make sure the new navigation SD card is functional. The word "NAVIGATION" should appear in the upper right corner. Press "NAVIGATION" to enter the navigation function. If "INSERT NAV SD CARD" appears, this means that the system does not recognize the insertion of the new card. Make sure the card is fully inserted until the card clicks.
