It does not have a protective film over the adhesive so the grit is stuck to the adhesive side and does not stick to the sander.

The only thing I dont like about this paper is that it doesnt have peel off backing so you just have to be careful of the next piece so it doesnt get dust or trash on it. Other then that this paper is great and has good durability and I will be buying again that one thing wont stop me from buying.

Woodworking is a hobby in my retirement and it is important to be able to purchase sandpaper at a reasonable price and still expect a quality product.

This is great DA paper except the adhesive to hold it on the sanding pad is not as strong as it should be. This is long lasting sandpaper and high quality sandpaper that I have used for the last year or more. If you were to go to an automotive paint store and buy a similar roll of sandpaper it would probably be double the cost of this paper and that would be for the cheapest line of DA sandpaper they had. To solve the issue with the paper not sticking as well as it should on the DA pad I bought a can of spray adhesive and spray a little bit on my DAs pad every so often it has worked like a charm and saved me a ton of money in the process.
