> 3 dayI have been using this skinny little laptop for 3 months now and I could not be more pleased. I use it primarily for surfing the web and email and managing videos and photos. I would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable, portable, reliable and sharp laptop.

Greater than one weekI have had it for 3 months and already had to take it to computer repair he said its cheap cheap send it back. It locked me out of my online banking nobody could figure it out. I say save a few more bucks up and get a good computer.

Greater than one weekNice size, fairly well made, but slow. This is the slowest laptop I have ever purchased. If you want Acer, try the Aspire 7 or a Swift model. Wont buy again.

> 3 dayGood product at a great price, but the Windows 10 S operating system is horrible... I had no idea how frustrating only using Windows Apps and browsers would be. Its like a big advertisement for windows you use it.

> 3 dayIve been using computers since the Intel 8088 processor hit the market via the first IBM PC...well truth be told, we came out at the same time in June of 1979. I feel somewhat like the old man relaying how they walked to school, up hill both ways, in the snow, with no shoes on, saying this but when that device came out, it cost the equivalent of $5,000 ~ $10,000 USD today. Fast forward to 2007 when I purchased my Mac Book Pro for $2,500 to do high-end Graphic design on, with a Core 2 Duo, 2GB DDR2 RAM and 5400RPM HDD....and now....I just purchased a budget buy of a PC that puts them both utterly to shame.

> 3 dayI have had the chance to use two of the more recent Acer Aspire 15.6 Laptops. This Acer Aspire 5 Slim Laptop is a good solid computer with a tried and true Intel Core Processor. It will be likely to will work very well without problems. The other computer I tried is a very similar Acer 15.6 machine with a AMD Ryza processor which is faster and better for gaming.

> 3 dayA great slim and light laptop at a great price. I use it as a desktop hooked up to a 28 monitor thru HDMI and a wireless keyboard and mouse, so I cant comment on the display, touchpad, or keyboard since I dont need or use them, but I can say it has plenty of ports including an ethernet jack and USB-C. It runs really well - very fast and stable, and nice and compact sitting on my desk. The 8th gen i3 is so much faster than the 1st gen i3 laptop it replaced when it died. I immediately switched the Win-10 S-mode to Win-10 home (very easy) and added another 4gb RAM stick for a total of 8gb, and added a 400gb data SSD. Both upgrades were super easy on this unit (search YouTube for how-to) and improved performance in photo editing and future-proofed it for years to come. Highly recommended.
