> 3 dayNice computer for a personal use computer. I havent had to have a personal computer in over 15 years, always having one given to me by my employer. It was down for a few weeks (sent for warranty repair) and I went stir crazy not being able to access online payments. I could have done it with a mobile phone, but I have that on me 24/7, sometimes its just nice to put the phone down.

> 3 dayPurchased this computer and thought Wow this is fantastic. Fast and crystal clear colorful screen. After spending time removing all the bloatwear, all of a sudden there was a grinding chopping noise. I thought that maybe I accidentally hit a button for a video to play on the internet. All programs were closed. I called Acer and held the phone up to the laptop so the tech could hear the sound. We laughed it sounded like a monster was eating a tree. I only had the computer two days. Acer said it was a hardware problem and to return the computer. Although I sent it back I’m considering ordering it again. Things happen and the customer service was great.

Greater than one weekSome of the negative reviews seem unreasonable. This is a good under $400 laptop. It boots fast (about two seconds), has a great display, handles a few open tabs at once and gets about nine hours on a charge. It’s not a gaming laptop but it’s also not $1,000. I don’t like the location of the power button as others stated. If you’re buying it for a kinda lightweight laptop for surfing, streaming and light computing it’s great. Don’t buy it for gaming and heavy stuff. You’ll be disappointed. But for simple stuff it’s EXCELLENT. I chose the Acer because my last $349 Acer lasted 9-1/2 years. Buy it!

Greater than one weekPurchased this based on my son’s recommendation. Should have purchased it a long time ago to replace my dog of a desktop. Great value for the money.

> 3 dayThis is a fantastic laptop for the price. Its nothing fancy to look at, but it is actually slim and nice to just throw in a laptop backpack and carry around. The screen is big enough to work with while keeping the laptop small enough to transport easily. This is a perfect computer for casual use or students. Dont expect to run hefty graphics programs on it and youre good to go. Battery life is pretty good. One easy adjustment and youre out of Windows Silly Mode and back into the real world. Just Google how to do it.
