My original c720 screen had cracked, (too much force on the screen when I closed it) so I ordered this one as a replacement. It arrived on time in perfect condition. I hooked the new screen up and it lit up with no problems.

Its a perfectly fine screen replacement for my Chromebook, the model wasnt quite right so I had some difficulty getting the screen in place but thats largely a mistake on my part. Be sure that youre getting the right screen down to the most minute detail before you buy it. Im docking a star because upon use I immediately found a dead pixel that is often really distracting despite being so small.

The screem is firm very well built and the colors look beautiful love it I recommend it to anybody.

Quality replacement. Got my wifes Chromebook back on the road with a minimum of hassle. Do your research if you havent replaced the screen on this particular model before. In particular, the keyboard cover switch (under the keyboard, against the back of the case toward the right, about 5 mm square) can become dislodged and cause the unit to only work with the power/charger cable plugged in.

I watched a YouTube video and followed along. It took 15-20 mins. The worse part for me was getting the 4 small screws back in that hold the screen. Unsnapping the screen frame was easier than I expected and only required a small flat head screw driver around one of the seams to get a grasp on it. Once the frame was off I took the time to clean it up, because my kid got something gooey around the hinges. She is also the reason I needed to replace the screen. I worked on it when she went to bed at night, so shell be surprised the next time she turns it on.

Had my best friend who used to repair computers installed it in two minutes. There are YouTube videos to help you even if you have no prior knowledge on computers and you would be able to do it. Works great, easy to install. If it matters mine is the C720-2420.

Perfect fit for my Acer Chromebook CB3-111. Kid borrowed and either stepped on it or left cord between lid and bottom and closed it. Either way, cracked screen. Replacement was super easy. If you need to replace yours, look for a video on youtube on how to do it. I did not need anything more than my laptop screwdriver set (bought at Lowes for around $4 a long time ago) The screen quality is the same as the original and have seen some websites giving customers a choice of matte or glossy. Ill stick with matte to avoid eye fatigue, but it is nice to have that option for those who want something that looks sharper even if it is more reflective. I am pleased with this screen and recommend it if you are not planning on replacing your chromebook any time soon. Hope this review helps.
