> 24 hourAs a beginner gamer, I dont know all the details that makes a gaming computer good. Gaming on this device is a very distinct experience compared to regular PCs and laptops. From what Ive noticed there is no lag on most games, it handles graphics intensive games well, and the hard drive size makes it easy to download multiple games without running out of space. Compared to my everyday laptop (ASUS Chromebook), this handles games without struggling, lagging, or just outright crashing. Ive used this laptop to play most of the mainstream games (COD, Apex Legends, Destiny, etc) and had a great experience. The performance maintained the same smoothness even with adding a controller.

> 24 hourIt ran games like New World at max settings just fine. Problem is three months in and the GPU started having a critical hardware failure rendering it useless and causing the system to default to the processors Radeon GPU. Specific failure was listed as error 43 in the Windows device manager. Even after fully removing and reinstalling drivers and the operating system the failure still exists which is a sure sign of a physical issue. Thankfully I was within 90 days off purchase and Amazon allowed a return saving me from a $1600 loss. Ive had an Acer Predator helios 300 that had worked for over 5 years no issue so Im not sure if this is a one off occurrence, but buyer beware.

> 24 hourPurchased this as a work computer to use with zbrush modeling software and it was quickly confiscated by my son. lol. His desktop was getting dated and the fact that this laptop seems to have a more current CPU, GPU and such really got him excited. Once he tried it he fell in love and all the current games are playing for him at full graphical settings. Set it up with an accompanying Acer Predator gaming monitor and it runs even better. Very happy with the purchase and quality of the setup.

> 24 hourSuch a nice little rig. We dont really need the high refresh rate panel, but the MODERN Ryzen 7 and brand-new RTX 4050 are greatly appreciated. With laptops we prefer to not replace them often since they only do menial work, and this is replacing an old Lenovo with a 4th gen i7. It has been hard finding a reasonably priced 17 inch laptop with worthwhile specs and so far this is handling the job great. I have heard negative things about the Nitro line, but so far I have nothing negative to report. Havent tested it for gaming since it wont be used for that, but I may give it a try eventually in Cyberpunk to see how well the 4050 handle the frame-generation tech.

> 24 hourGreat Gaming PC for those unable to have a desktop computer who still don’t want to sacrifice performance. (So long as the fans have proper clearance) I’ve been using it for a few months with no overheating issues or really any negative experience with the laptop at all! Unfortunately hours before writing this review my laptop managed to find its way out of a moving car window at 15 MPH. After a full test of the laptop theirs no damage to report excepts for some very minor surface scratches. All considered this purchase was well worth the money spent.

> 24 hourVery good and capable computer, but the high temps make me wonder how this piece of kit will be after 3-4 years in a power users hands. Guess we shall see.

> 24 hourEasy to set up, except for the horrible windows 11 which forces you into certain decisions. Performance is phenomenal. Heat is jetted out the sides for the most part but would not recommend laying the computer on your lab but on a metal/wood laptop cooling pad. This is a very heavy laptop.

> 24 hourPlugged in the adapter and pressed the power button. Nothing. Total DOA. This is not one of those things. Its a total lack of quality control. Before you put it in the box. Push the button and turn it on. I worked in IT for ten years and after hundreds of units ordered I never had a DOA Apple or Dell.
