I got the nitro 5 with the 9th gen i5 and gtx 1650 in April, at about 3 months I got a code 43 on the gpu tried everything, ended up sending to Acer, they sent it back, said it was fixed but it wasnt. I just sent it back again so Ill update as to the outcome, its only been 5 months so its not looking good for Acer.

For my first gaming computer Im absolutley blown away! Everything works flawlessly I use everyday on average for about 4 hours I did add the Samsung evo870 ssd 1tb to the empty space next to the battery and that made it even better I have had this Acer for about a month now and still no problems

Switched from console after 22 years and I love this laptop. So good for the price. Never played computer games before this laptop and I will never go back to console

One of the best purchases ive done this year! I really enjoy the product and it feels really good when using this laptop, very light weight. The only sad part was it comes with 256GB SSD Disk space, but still worth it!

Although this functions great as a sleek-looking mid-performance PC, it is quite lacking for a gaming computer. While the temperature control is good and it can run new AAA games at about 50 fps with mid-high performance settings, it has an atrocious battery life, hardly enough to play a game for over 2 hours without charging. Additionally, there is not nearly enough storage to run more than a couple of small games; I highly recommend getting a USB just in case. Overall I dont think this is a reliable gaming PC, and I dont recommend it.

Motherboard died after a few weeks of light not gaming use. And Acer support is useless

Webcam stopped working one day & can’t find the driver. IT couldn’t fix it either… touch screen doesn’t exist, not sure why that’s a metric. Screen quality is good. Battery life is fine until you’ve had it for a year. I don’t leave my laptop on the charger & definitely not when I’m using it…. The battery life has still decreased significantly
