> 3 dayThe monitor was a great value being a sub 300$ 144 hz monitor. I had no problem with the monitor other than some trouble connect with a display port.

Greater than one weekSo far everything is working and arrived in good shape. At first glance I will admit I wasnt sure it was curved. I have a Samsung Curve and their curve has a bit more bend to it, alright on to the actual review. NOT DOA - whew (my box had serious gouges from what looked like a sharp metal corner in several spots), no dead pixels either... Im winning at this point. Assembly was a cake walk, pulled it out and plugged right into the stand with a single screw (decent quality). Both the monitor and mount are light, the screen is easy to adjust from a forward/reverse swivel at the base. The button on the back (stick) is easy to use. Ive seen comments that its finicky but honestly my Samsung has a similar selection stick - so I didnt find any issues. This does work with G-Sync or FreeSync - just so you all know - Nvidia came out back in January of 2019 and made more of their monitors universal. Once I had the Nvidia Control Panel up and running (had to update GPU drivers before Win10 would see it) - getting performance and refresh up to 120hz was a few clicks and done. If you want 144hz you will simply have to right click on the background of your desktop - go to display - select the monitor - advanced setting - set refresh to 144hz. I have not played with color tuning just yet, Ive only had the monitor for about 3 days and this was the last item I needed before I built my PC. I plan to play with the colors later and will re-review in a few months. I havent put any games through the ringer on it due to a mobo - m.2 drive issue (thats another review) but I did do a few CPU Bench Mark tests and once the refresh rate was fixed I was wizzing around between 189 - 320 fps on high details. If you use the G-sync you lose fps in order to prevent the tearing - just be aware. I will give a 5th star if it rates one or take one later if something happens - 4 stars is just the highest I will give at this point. If youre trying to decide on size or this one, I can say I was there. 24 is plenty for me. Leaves me with room to expand if I want to, plenty of mount/keyboard room and tower on desk. Great bang for the buck Cons - Ill let you know.

> 3 dayNot sure if it is a trait of curved monitors, or this particular one... But this thing has a god awful picture sitting next to any other 1080p monitor I have in the house. I will probably give this one away. The physical controls / buttons on the monitor are horrible. Its some weird joystick thing on the back side of the monitor. I only sometimes reach for it for volume, but if you had to navigate the menus or input with this monitors buttons it would be a huge pain. The speaker is facing out the back side of this monitor. This makes no sense and practically makes builtin audio either ear-piercingly loud or ultra quiet / muffled. I created a shroud using a sheet of plastic that hangs over the speakers housing which reflects some sound back to me, its a bit better, but still pretty bad. There is an audio out AUX port which is a probably the best feature of this display. The power supply and plug is not only unique to this monitor, but comes paired with a massive inline power brick that I had to rig up on the back side of my desk since its weight otherwise dangles in midair and pulls on the AC plug connected to the monitor. You can not use a normal cable that 90% of monitors and PC power supplies use. Another terrible choice in design. Display ports are limited. One HDMI, VGA and DVI. So, if you have Display Port cables youll have to get HDMI-to-DP if you need DP on one end. Didnt think this would be a problem when buying, but its been a huge pain. I could do without VGA or DVI in place of a DP. You can probably get VGA and DVI monitors for free or dirt cheap. Not sure why these are still being put on monitors. Adapters exist to step down, stepping up from an old port to a newer port defeats the purpose. You lose all the quality. At least if you adapt to VGA / DVI, you can remove the adapter and gain your quality back. In the long run, an HDMI switch and a DP-to-HDMI cable saved this monitors life in my house. Also, the audio out AUX port helped to fix the terrible builtin speakers (poor quality is mostly due to orientation). But you might need a mile long AUX cable. (Which for whatever reason are a fraction of the price if you buy an AUX extension, instead of an actual dual-sided AUX cable. Buy a shorter AUX cable, plug it into a multi-foot long extension AUX cable. You will save money!)

> 3 dayI originally bought this monitor to replace the setup that I had originally. Ive had it for over a year and havent had many problems. The only thing that I DONT like about this monitor is that it is permanently stuck at 60hz refresh rate despite it being advertised as a 75hz monitor. Not a big deal really because I have other monitors that are actually 75hz and I personally cant tell the difference between 60 and 75. I never used the stand so I cant comment on its build quality; If a monitor has a VESA and youre not overly restricted on space you should always use it in my opinion. tl;dr Good build quality good picture Still running strong after a year of usage at 8+ hours a day NOT 75hz as advertised monitor menu has VERY little customization and half the option cant actually be selected Installing the VESA was a little more difficult than normal

> 3 dayCould not be beat for the price of $179 that I paid for it considering the 144hz refresh rate and VA panel. The one major drawback was the complete lack of factory color calibration. Even fine tuned, the picture showed extremely varied color accuracy. To demonstrate I have compared this monitor on the left with a color calibrated IPS display on the right. The difference is quite noticeable. Upside: Refresh rate and Freesync work fantastic Downside: Fairly poor color accuracy

> 3 dayThis performs far better than I thought it would at this price. Perfect size for me, slight curve adds depth to high graphic video games. Has no problem running No Mans Sky on Ultra graphics mode. No slowness or refresh rate slowing. The only way you are getting a better performing monitor than this is by increasing the price 5-10 times.

16-11-2024Very good monitor. Colors are excellent. Viewing angles do not skew colors. Stand is nice, and adjusts vertical tilt. The button is on the right rear, which can be a hassle to access, and turning the monitor off requires a 5 second depress. Minor, but worth mentioning. Gaming at 144hz for $150 dollars is amazing.

> 3 dayBought this to enhance my work-at-home setup, replacing a 24 flat Acer that will get repurposed in another room. PROS: * Monitor was packaged well and started up with no dead pixels. * Setup was super easy -- one screw connects the base to the monitor bracket, and the bracket snaps into the back of the monitor. * Overall, picture quality is good for the price. * At 3W, speakers put out considerably more volume than other monitors (the Acer it replaces had 2W speakers with very weak sound). * Comes with a handy set of cables (except DVI...not even an adapter?). * White/chrome style looks clean and modern sitting on our kitchen desk. * Did I mention its curved?? CONS: * Packaging leaves no confusion as to whats inside -- fortunately I was able to claim it off the front porch before anyone passing by got greedy. * Ports are kind of tucked up and in, which make connection kind of tricky. * Comes with a single rocker/push button for control that is easy to turn on, but has to be held 12 forevers before it turns off. * Brightness seems just a touch uneven across the width of the screen. Overall, Im happy with the purchase and would recommend.

> 3 dayNo regrets. The monitor is awesome. Gaming is silly smooth and the curve looks pretty good. Its hard to notice but still nice. The design is basic but looks good. It comes with a display prot cable which was awesome for me. The only complaint is that I still am not sure about color accuracy. Ill have to look into settings more but I feel like it isnt perfect.
