> 3 daySo a month ago when I got it, I was having signal issues when i got it with my msi laptop and also thought that it was fake advertised as G sync compatible as it has AMD Free Sync Premium. I could not try out G sync compatible from my laptop so I came to that assumption. Guess I was wrong. I got a used PC with Nvidia graphics card and it is G sync compatible as well as has AMD Free Sync premium and signal issue is not there. Guess it was just my laptop. Speakers are okay. But I also had gotten a MSI VG273 monitor for similar price and this has way many options and adjustments than that one. This one felt easy on the eyes as well compared to MSI VG273 as it is eyesafe certified. Definitely the better choice if you are comparing it to the MSI in terms of display quality, graphics, and adjustments settings. Returned the msi and kept this one. Very happy and satisfied with the purchase. Can’t beat the price for 165hz as well!

> 3 dayThis monitor is stunning. I use this as my main monitor in a 3 setup. I use it for gaming and digital art, and it looks incredible. Ive seen no issues that people talk about, and I dont understand the color things people are saying are bad on this. If the colors appear bad, its probably your own settings, or you didnt change the monitor settings. Talking about that, accessing the monitor menu is SUPER easy. Theres a little joystick in the back that you use to navigate; much easier than the normal button clicking layout. For 1440p gaming, this thing is great. The colors are also great, and my drawings look stunning on this, and on AMOLED displays (This is a common issue, drawing on PC, and then seeing your drawing on a phone with a much different and better display. This monitor has such a great color range, its easy to test how it would look)

> 3 dayThis is the first one I bought (5/2020). 2nd one I bought from another vendor (9/2021). I use it for work, photo editing, a little video work, and watching streaming services. Very happy with the monitors. I recently (1/2022) got a monitor tree to mount them to have them at a more ergonomic height. What vexed me is the VESA mounting hole werent all M4 threaded. On the Amazon monitor one hole wasnt M4 and Im pretty sure I cross threaded it getting the M4 screw in there. On the other monitor the bottom two holes I could not get M4 screws in at all. What worked were #6-32 3/4 screws. What the heck Acer? Somebodys manufacturing quality controls are off.

> 3 dayThis is a great monitor, I turned on Metro Exodus and my jaw dropped with how pretty everything was. If youre used to 1080 at 60hz youre really in for a treat. I have heard that the mount sucks but I never used it as I picked up a VESA mount that worked really well.

Greater than one weekI ordered the 1440p model. When I connected it in windows it defaults to 4K. Refresh rate is 29hz. When I choose 1440p refresh rate is 59hz. When I tried 1080p refresh rate was 60hz. I bought this to game in and am switching from an ASUS 1080p 144hz 1ms monitor. This monitor makes me nauseous with its low refresh. I am using an HDMI cable for the moment until the display port cable is delivered. That may be my problem. ****UPDATED**** After much tinkering in windows and the monitor, I was able to make it all work so much better. The dp cable is great too. It’s got a fast response and great color now. Not going to say certain fast paced FPS are totally clear when flicking around, but pretty much acceptable and the rest of the benefits outweigh. My old asus monitor wasn’t much better but is blown away in every other department. Movies are much nicer to watch on this by far. Gaming is better in 99% of games. I’ve put many hours on this monitor now and can recommend. - other people talk about flicker, I haven’t seen any. UPDATE ********** three months later and the flicker has appeared. It like a strobe like and is nauseating. Move on to the exit monitor unless you are ok with spending money on a piece of trash.

Greater than one weekI purchased this monitor back in 2019. For the first 6 months, it worked flawlessly. The screen is sharp, bright, and the colors look good. 144hz is a very noticeable improvement over 60 or 75hz for gaming. After 6 months, the screen randomly started flashing horizontal bars up and down the screen, which made the monitor useless. Customer Service: I chatted with customer service a total of 3 times. I tried all of the troubleshooting methods they told me to do, as well as everything I could think of. Nothing solved the problem. They said ship it to their repair center, so I did and I paid the $50 postage. After stress testing it, the problem did not show up on their systems, and sent it back. The problem still persisted for me. The second time I contacted them, they wanted me to ship it to them again and this time they paid for shipping. Again, they did nothing, said they could not find a problem, and shipped it back. I updated windows and all of my drivers, and it still does not work. I spent hours on the phone walking through my problem and I sent photos as well. Finally, I was adamant that I needed a replacement because other monitors work fine on my PC, so its not my GPU. And it is still under warranty. They said they could not do anything for me. Bottom Line: Acer has lost me as a customer forever, as well as all of my friends and family, because they could not send me a working product when I had a defective one and it was still under warranty.

> 3 dayI looked for reviews on this product before purchasing. It seemed to be a fairly even split, people who got good ones, and people who got bad ones. I gambled, and got a bad one. Out of the box it immediately had flickering issues with the fake HDR setting turned on, as if the screen was struggling to put out that much light consistently. Turned it off, it seemed okay. After about 30 minutes, I began to notice a different flicker coming up. The entire screen flashing gray for just a fraction of a second. Okay, I think to myself. Issues sometimes come up when you get something new. Lets troubleshoot. I try different cables. I had defaulted to Displayport because my graphics card only has one HDMI, and thats used for my old reliable BenQ office monitor thats a secondary display. But through multiple DP and HDMI cables (including the one that came in the box), the problem persists. Next are the settings. I go through them all. Turn them off or on, one at a time. Freesync, ACM, VBR, Ultra Low Latency mode, etc. etc. Problem persists, and gets worse with some. By the time I decided to call it quits, the gray screen flickering had accelerated to happening about once every other second, which made every task unbearable to deal with.

> 3 dayupgraded from a 1080p 60hz monitor to this and I love it. For gaming the 144hz display is amazing! This monitor has hdr 400, it is sadly disappointing, but its better than nothing. But overall this is a great monitor.
