> 24 hourI really thought this would be a good value for a gaming computer. I was right for about a year. After 1 year, almost to the day I got it, it started to have problems. It started to overheat so much that my fingers got a burn. It was only a 1st degree burn though I never thought I would have to worry about that with a laptop. I It then started to shut off randomly. I thought it lost connection to the charger or it went bad so I purchased another one. That didnt fix it. Now it only works if I unplug the charger and run off battery which only lasts so long. I decided to see what Acer could do as it is their product that failed a little after a year. I wouldnt write this except Acer, told me it was out of limited warranty so I would need to pay $749.99 to get them to fix it! That is 65% the original cost! Apple support is far better which is saying a lot. It is just ridiculous and I will never get an Acer again as long as I live.

> 24 hourWhile I really do enjoy this laptop for the couple of weeks Ive owned it, whenever I plug my headset in and try to talk while playing games with friends or typing, all they can hear is garbled noise and static. Apparently even having a small amount of pressure on the left hand side of the keyboard (e.g. my palm resting on it when over the WASD keys), it completely cuts out my microphone audio. Given that I bought this laptop for gaming, this is an absolute deal breaker for me. Deeply disappointed and already sent in a claim for repair/replacement, will update my review should they be able to fix this.

> 24 hourI originally bought this in April for the dual purpose of work from home and playing video games. It runs most modern games decently well, which you would expect given the staggering price tag, but you had definitely pray that nothing goes wrong with your machine because Acer support absolutely 100% does not have your back.

> 24 hourI found a few laptops over the my gaming career and theyve all fallen short, Im a PC gamer but desktop all the way. When my desktop died and I started traveling a lot for work I needed something portable so I did a lot of research and settled on this one.

> 24 hourThis laptop is a beast and I have no issues with performance. Because of this, but as should be expected: it runs hot, the fans get loud, and the battery life is atrocious (you definitely need to keep it plugged in, but that’s standard).

> 24 hourI know very little about computer spec for a high quality gaming laptop, but after reviewing products, I felt this product had the functionality my son needed for online gaming and the price was reasonable in comparison to the other products with similar specs. I got this laptop as a Christmas gift for my son, and he loves it! He said the graphics are awesome and he said the speed is high enough that he isn’t experiencing any lag when playing online games. I highly recommend this quality product that won’t break the bank!
