> 3 dayThe display is out for this world, at this point in time gaming laptops are actually cheaper than building so I think this is a good investment!

> 3 dayBought this Acer Predator after a lot of research. Found good features in this price range. But after using for 8 months, the product poor quality started to uncover. Battery stopped charging all together. Have to keep power cord inserted all the time to use it, which is of course not feasible.

> 3 dayIve only had it for a couple of weeks. Runs my games great but only works when plugged in. Not sure if I got a bad battery with mine or what the problem is but its a bummer that I have to tote the cords around and cant play on it unless Im near an outlet.

> 3 daythis gaming laptop just blows the comp away and is just as good as a 5000 dollar laptop for gaming, dont be fooled into thinking the more it cost the better, this is sufficient n more than enough

> 3 dayOriginally my review was good before I realized this laptop runs extremely hotter than any system should. Under Minimal load with fans at max RPM I am seeing spikes reaching 90-95 degree Celsius. I sent it in for this issue and when I got it back the problem is still there. Acer says that they resolved the problem and tried telling me these are normal temps. These are not normal temps as the CPU melts very close to this temp. After being run around for a while I am beginning to think this is all a scam. They make some lemons and give people a run around until they cannot return the damn thing. I should have realized something was up when it took them THREE tries to get my email right in order to send a shipping label for repair.

> 3 dayWell for starters this device is great , well except for thermal performence . When im gaming this laptop run over 90c . So at this level of heat it is very uncomfortable (painful) to touch the upper part of the laptop . And mostly the cpu is the one gives you most troubles with heat. So only solution so far i found was to use throttlestop software to turn off turbo boost of the cpu and then the laptop runs even the hardcore games at around 70c. But im pretty bummed about that because as you can see one of the most famous marketing point about this laptop is its so called 4th gen aero blade fans . And even when i turn on the max fan mode it doesnt reduce much heat when gaming (or heavy work). Mostly you can expect is one or two degrees of temperature difference.

> 3 dayI got the 2060 version six months ago, and Ive yet to be disappointed by this laptop. It handles games great, though the plastic build leaves some to be desired. Otherwise, no complaints!

> 3 dayI found a few laptops over the my gaming career and theyve all fallen short, Im a PC gamer but desktop all the way. When my desktop died and I started traveling a lot for work I needed something portable so I did a lot of research and settled on this one.
