The laptop screen quality is good. Its 144hz and videos and pictures looks nice on it. Gaming was also alright for it for the first year or so. It ran smoothly and didnt experience anything major. However, I started encountering heating issues after around 6 months. I even used turbo boost on the predator sense software and cleaned out the fans from dust. I would not recommend this laptop to anyone who is looking to use it for long term. It would randomly turn off when gaming and I tried everything from updating software, reseting windows, updating BIOS, etc. Now it just flickers on and off and doesnt even turn on anymore. It is quite disappointing especially considering that this cost $1,000+.

I really like the computer just disappointed that amazon sent me a link to a free black ops 4 that did not work. Very unsatisfactory for amazing to offer something and have it not work. Customer service was no help.

So far it’s good

An amazing laptop that runs almost every game perfectly. Only problem is the fact that it is called the Helios, i.e. expect some burnt fingers if you dont do anything to cool it down. It runs EXTREMELY hot. I usually use a laptop cooler, fans on high and also put desk fan on right next to it to avoid turning my hands into roasted weenies.

As soon as this thing arrived I unboxed it to set things up. Right off the bat the screen started flickering. Youtube screen flickering Acer Predator Helios 300 for some examples of what this looks like. It flickered so bad that I could not browse the internet or play a game. I ended up repackaging it and returning it to Amazon that day. I called customer support and they could not fix it but said that theres a hardware issue and that I should mail it to them for repair. This would probably fix the issue, but why should I spend $1000 on a laptop that comes broken, and then wait weeks for it to be mailed, repaired, and returned for a chance that it will be fixed? Theres plenty of other laptops of this quality on the market around the same price that probably have a better build quality. I think the specs on this thing are incredible but its clear they achieved this by cutting costs elsewhere.

I had just purchased this laptop. I was so excited to finally have a new one and to my surprise. Its already damaged. Dont know when this happened but Im really disappointed. Was really looking forward to getting to use it.

Every single time I am playing a game the FPS just drop I don’t know what to do, and it gets too hot

After three month of use laptop charge start to not function, laptop wont charge ,and acer didnt help or proivd any vaild sloution. I end up taking it to a local shop where i replaced the battery.

Amazing laptop.fast delivery to saudi Arabia less than week. When you idle or exploring the net . Put the fan in auto with cooling boost . The heat wont go more 50C but if you gaming put the fan on max and turn cooling boost off . I am a gamer .. so i kill this laptop when i use it. The maximum heat i got from this laptop with fan on max with overclocking is 91C . There is no any laptop with better cooling at this price .Dont think twice! get this laptop !
