Package is easy to take apart, the Monitor is well protected and is only in 3 separate pieces. Assembly is very straightforward and the picture is excellent. My photo definitely does not do the monitor justice. I ended up purchasing two of these and they both operate seamlessly! Highly recommend.

Bought this monitor to go with new Acer Desktop. About 6 weeks ago the computer would randomly refresh. Contacted Acer for the desktop (under warranty). I was told to take it to a local repair shop because Acer couldnt figure out what was going on with. Got a new router, changed power supply cords, different outlets. Contacted Acer again. Now they want me to pay to ship it FedEx for them to look at it. Research on the monitor. Tried all the same trouble shooting with the monitor. Same thing, its under warranty and I am supposed to pay to have it shipped to them, they will try to recreate the problem and if they cant, then I will have to pay repair prices. Long story short, dont buy Acer if want to deal with a company that doesnt stand by their products that are under warranty. I shouldnt have to pay for any shipping. And something that isnt even a year old shouldnt stop working. I will NEVER buy another Acer product.

Hard to beat for the money spent. Great picture, starts up quickly. Doesnt feel cheap. I like it. Recommended.

    Greater than one week

Would probably recommend a 2k monitor over a 1080p monitor, but overall this is the best bang for the buck monitor I could find on the market. Works stunningly good

The monitor does not support 3.5 mm audio interface and the usb interface, but you can connect the speaker with the console. And 1080p is enough for playing switch.

Purchased 2 of these for standard office use. After 1 week (or less) of normal use, with PC sleep settings (not on 24/7), one monitor was having serious burn in issues and image retention. I removed the monitor from the PC from which the images were burnt in or retained, and they still show up while powering on a disconnected monitor. I plugged it into an entirely different PC, and after 10 minutes, it was getting burn-in / retention from the other PC after under 20 minutes. Sent in for replacement - but thats kind of the risk you take when buying cheap Acer monitors. These should be $90 to $110 normally, but it seems like a shortage is driving up the prices. Aside from one of the two being defective, the one that works is okay. Acceptable for a standard office worker.

(This review is for the 23.8 VA version of this panel, The SB241Y Abi) I am astonished at how good this monitor is for the price. It has some drawbacks, but in this ocassion it seems Acer cut the right corners in order to provide as good a experience as possible for this price. Taking into account only image quality and thin bezels you could easily confuse this monitor for an expensive one. You see this is a cheap monitor when you take into account the lack of high refresh rate and PIP, the base that only allows tilting and the view angles and other details. PROS: -It has nice color accuracy, really good contrast and its pretty bright. I dare to say it has the best quality for the price. -It has practically no bezels (except at the bottom). -It quite light. -No screwdrivers required for assembly. -Good clarity on text, it doesnt seem to create any kind of eye constrain when reading. CONS: -This monitor requires a lot of calibration in order to provide good color accuracy. I had to put it side by side with my main monitor, which was already heavily calibrated and spent about 20min in this operation. -Base only allows for vertical tilting. Theres no screen rotation. -Not a wide view angle. It seems to me the image starts to look washed out at angles over 135°. However, this is to expect from a VA panel. If you need to watch this from very steep angles, get an IPS monitor. In general, I recommend this monitor to any new gamer that is on a budget as the only real drawback is the 75hz refresh rate, which is still good. You probably wont find another monitor under 130USD better than this one. Since its easy on the eyes and text is very clear and not oversharpened its pretty good for office work too.

Really good. I got it for gaming and it works pretty well. The stand is a bit wobbly though but not too bad. Some games do tend to lag (like Minecraft) but it can easily be fixed. I really like it and I recommend it for beginning gamers and people making a cheap setup. (Also, there is no speakers so you are only able to hear noise with headphones or you will have to go get some speakers and hook them up)
