I’m not a professional knitter by any definition, and as much as I like the bigger size 5.5 the smaller size is too slippery for me. But I would recommend these for someone who is way more talented than I am. :)

Addi circular needles are the best I have seen and used. The cord is extremely flexible.

This is my third pair of size 8’s over a decade but that’s ok! I don’t mind having to replace them every now and then because there simply isn’t a more comfortable needle to work with on the planet! I’ve had to replace them a couple of times because the coating eventually does wear off the tips after years of use, and I use size 8’s more than any other size. I own every size Addi turbo and they are simply the best. Now that they have the blue cords they are even better. Much easier to work with and they do not coil the way that the old gold cords did. My go to needle for every project.

Ive had a ridiculous time trying to buy Addi Turbo Rockets from Amazon. I very carefully read the description, check the photo, etc. but lo and behold when the needles arrive they are the Original Addi Turbos - NOT Addi Rockets. Addi Originals are great needles but NOT what I wanted. Im returning a slew of Addi Original Turbos I ordered all of which said they were Rockets. Different sizes and lengths but the same problem. Unreal.

First time using these, knitting is a dream! Now I have to save up to get more!
