> 3 dayIve had this line of shoes for years now, going back to one of the first iterations (I believe it was one of the first), with the luxurious feeling cloudfoam insoles, that had small lumps, but in a good way. I still have that pair, completely worn out, but still more comfy than this most recent 4.0. Ive had 3 other pairs since, all of which no longer had the lumpy (but comfy) cloud foam, but still all more comfy than this current 4.0 iteration. The surface of the new insoles feels like cork, and has minimal to no padding... the shoe itself seems decent enough, keeping the standard alive there. But the insoles make it feel like Im walking on rough sand.

Greater than one weekI bought these prior to a 3 week trip to Germany. I averaged 13.5k steps over 20 days in these shoes with a combined load of about 260lbs(me and my pack). The soles are worn almost smooth under the balls of my feet. I had reservations about buying a walking shoe with 100% foam soles, and ultimately was proven correct. If these were half the price I’d give them 4 stars for outright fit and performance as a throwaway shoe. If they had a layer of rubber under the heel and ball of the sole they’d have 10x longevity, and they’d be 5 stars at any price under 100$. Your mileage may vary.

> 3 dayYou hear “cloud comfort”, “Adidas” and “walking shoe”, and you might think (as I did) this would be the perfect shoe for my 5-8 mile walks, every day. They fit perfectly; they’re soft as a cloud. Unfortunately, after the dirst time I got home from a 5 mile walk, my feet absolutely ached. Not i. The way that a shoe that is too narrow or doesn’t have a wide enough toe box. Just general ache through the feet. Next day, same. Day after, same. Day after, processed the return.
