Aftershokz Aeropex Mini (Rebranded as Shokz OpenRun Mini) Bone Conduction Wireless Bluetooth Headphones

I bought these for the idea of them to “not” be noise canceling while I’m running outside. The audio quality is very poor. It almost sounds like you’re just listening to the music off of your phone speaker. Also when you turn the volume up they vibrate all over the place and make them unbearable to listen to. I will be returning them the same day as receiving them.

These are not headphones, so im not comparing it to BOSE, BEATS, OR SKULLCANDY, etc. Having the situational awareness of these headphones are the reason you buy it. not because of the groundbreaking sound quality.

Crystal clear sound when listening to media or when talking on the phone, but without shutting out the world like earbuds do. I need to hear whats going on around me-- especially in the car-- and these fit the bill beautifully.

I had thought I would be giving this product a solid 5 stars. I love almost everything about it. The build is amazing, so comfortable and convenient. The sound and even the microphone work seamlessly. I had thought this is the headset to beat all headsets but then I took a reading with my EMF reader, and this bone conductive Bluetooth headset gives off so much EMF, that it measured consistently in the red, this is much more than my phone even gives off. To me this is akin to having the phone strapped to ones head. Lots of research is coming out about the dangers of two high levels of emf radiation, and next to my brain, no thank you. I love this product but I love my health more.

I am half deaf. And its hard for me to use headphones, this product allows me to listen music while still can hear what is happening arround.

Pros - you can hear from outside and whats being broadcast to the device. The microphone works very well without the boom mic attachment - I bet that makes it even better but dont need it for teams but if I move back to the busy cubicle world that it may be a good option.

My dad hasnt been able to hear for years. I told him about this technology and he was interested. We got him this, and the expression on his face was awesome!!! He said it is the clearest sound hes heard in years. I found him some old TV shows on YouTube and he ran through the batteries twice in the first day. I am really happy even if they arent the best quality...they are pretty great!

Worked fairly well with android but can’t get them to work with iPhones. Wanted to buy a pair for my wife’s iPhone but couldn’t get them to work.
