Perfect for my work space.

This mat is almost a perfect fit for my workbench. I have an ideal amount of space on each end for attaching a vise or clamp. When I ordered it, I intended to glue it down. Once it arrived and I put it on my bench that will not be needed. This mat grips like crazy and will not slide unless its intentional. I am very happy with this item. Im going to order a spare for when I wear this out.

High quality material used to craft this item. I can definitely recommend. Thick material highly cushy well adapted for rifle maintenance or any other purpose where you need to lay small pieces out in front of yourself. Comes rolled up like a mousepad so some breaking in will be required but its very usable.

I am not a gun aficionado. I simply needed a mat to clean my handgun after weekly range use. The towel I had been using had saturated and smelled heavily of solvent. This mat works for my purpose. It doesnt take up a huge amount of space, seems to absorb the solvent and oils well, and provides a relatively non-slick surface.

Good wide mat that Im using for a couple different purposes including a gun cleaning mat. It essentially feels and looks like an oversized mouse pad. I may still grab some more for other uses as well.

I ordered the 17x48 because I hate ordering too small. I can always deal with the excess. Although the product page shows you can cut to fit, I just simply laid it out on my table and went to work. I dont NEED the extra space but I enjoy it. The mat helps keep the workbench clean and parts organized. It does not allow the lubricants and cleaners to bleed through the mat possibly damaging the wood underneath. Its nice and thick and non slip. Its a great mat for your consideration!

I didnt need writing or advertising I needed something to protect my guns. This is a good mat for the price.
