Works much better than the one that came with the a/c unit . This hose is much thicker and harder to rip . It works really good and longer too.

The hose fell apart in the first week.

About an inch smaller, had to use duck tape.

Material seems thin but it does the job. The one complaint is that because of the thickness it gets too hot too quickly

Because my portable A/C is an older model it was not an exact fit but was easily modified to accommodate with a pipe clamp on my unit. Overall it was quite easy to install. It appears to be of excellent quality and is working fine. .

Finally got it hooked up and was ecstatic about the extra length ! The clockwise thread was easy to fit into the existing ends and it is up and running. So happy to have this now as the weather is demanding some help. Fast delivery. Grateful it was available.

I went to 3 hardware stores - including the one where I purchased my portable air conditioner and none of them had a replacement vent hose. One store advised me to go to a dedicated heating and air conditioning outlet. They would surely have such a hose. They did not. So I came back to my apartment and searched Amazon. It was right there all along. I wonder why retail is dying. You cant find stuff like this except online. Next time Ill let my fingers do the walking. Regarding the product: Its a good hose. Fits perfectly and it bends without cracking. Check back with me in a couple years to see how well it held up. It is currently Spring of 2022)
