Love the ease of replacing the dirty one with a clean new one.

For some reason, probably known to Dyson, installation of this brand new ( but not genuine) filter would not allow the fan to reset. The change the filter message would not go away. I U-tubed a bunch of fixes and none worked. Called Dyson, figuring they could reset it remotely, but they couldnt. For some reason they decided to send me a free genuine Dyson filter, and it worked after i had to call them again, and the remote fix worked this time. I absolutely could not tell the difference between the two, and good old Amazon gave me a refund on the first one, so all good.

I ordered this hoping I could use it for a while until I could afford the actual replacement filter I needed and it was okay for a couple weeks. It fit my HP01 fine, installed easily, and the only visual difference seemed to be the pattern on the outside layer. However there is a weight difference as it’s much lighter than a dyson filter and I discovered that there was much more noise while on, which I could deal with, but there was also a bad smell that came from it if I ran it above the first level or had it oscillating. So in a pinch if you aren’t going to run it on high you can use it for a short time, otherwise just get an official filter.

Dyson air filters are in the $60 price range and this filter looks and feels like the original for a 1/3 of the price so I am very happy with this purchase.

Amazon, this review is far too soon to be of much value. We’re talking about a replacement filter for a Dyson product where the filter lasts for months and months and months. All I can tell you about at this point is that it looks and feels a lot like the original equipment filter from Dyson and it was at a comparably great price. The service was good from the vendor. The delivery time was short and the price was good. However I can’t tell you about the quality of the filter itself for a while.

I’ve never had my machine display “very poor” air quality before using this filter. Not only is it not purifying the air, it’s making it worse! I’ve used other non-Dyson filters before and they’ve all worked perfectly well, this one is another story! I’m extremely disappointed with this filter.

Works just fine

I replace the filter in my fusion heater/fan every 6 months. It is very easy to replace and doesn’t look too dirty when I take the old one out.
