Our LG sound bar remote was missing, so I tried this generic remote. It works well - all features work as expected. In fact, it works so well I purchased a second one for convenience / back up.

We had to order a new remote even though our universal works for the volume, but we needed to be able to change the sub-woofer volume and occasionally toggle between voice and cinema modes. The remote worked right out of the box (after, of course, I installed 2 AAA batteries which are not included). But, glad it works just as its supposed to.
