My son loves it!

My 5 year old love this toy. We have different Akedo sets and overall, the Boxer character is the one who wins most fights overall.

Battle characters easily fall off the blue pieces. Wouldn’t recommend. Very frustrating for a little guy.

Im not as impressed with this set as I am with some of the others in the collection, but its nice. It comes as a starter set with various looks and styles, though the whole collection has a cohesive look. Theyre small and portable, making this a nice game to take to a friends house or on the go, and its simple to play with. This starter set definitely requires a few add-ons, which will add on to the price - thats the major downside. Theyre of a basic quality, nothing overly exciting, but still good. Its a pretty straightforward set thats fun for many ages.

My boys (3&5) have been collecting Akedo Warriors for awhile now and love the new look of these toys. The new practice Training figure looks super cool and the suction on it is slightly better than the older packs but still not the best. They are excited to see the new shows and see how the characters play out. The controllers are still the same and still catch sometimes and some of the figures still split strike easily, but the toys are still fun overall despite the kinks. I would recommend it for kids to play with or collect as each figure is unique and battles differently.

The punch guys are actually pretty decent fighters (avoid the ones with ball and chain type attacks, they are useless). I did ding a star because only one mini battler is going to get you no where. You need two for a match.
