Akro-Mils 30220 AkroBins Plastic Hanging Stackable Storage Organizer Bin, 7-Inch x 4-Inch x 3-Inch, Red, 24-Pack

Bought 24 bins. They are full of nuts,bolts washers and miscellaneous things. They are very sturdy hanging from the back end of the bin. Ripped some 1x6 pine to the height of the bins and screwed a 3/4 × 1/4 aluminum angle to the top. Then screwed that to the wall. They hang nicely and look great.

This is a great product in its design and function. However, my clear bins arrived as cloudy and translucent rather than transparent. I have ordered these same bins in the past and when properly made they are actually transparent. Therefore, I reduced this product by a star because of quality control on this order.

Long story short: these Akro-Mils distributors have a bad habit of under-packaging their bins for shipment. The bigger the bins, the more likely they are to arrive crushed/cracked/chipped/gouged. But these ones are nice and tiny, so they seem to handle transit well even when packaged with insufficient padding. Mine arrived in perfect condition.

I used a label maker to put labels on each of these and hung them on the 30136 Louvered Steel Panel. They have really helped me to get my shop organized, and I have gotten several compliments from my neighbors on how organized I am. Ha!

When you hold one you realize that what the maker charges for them is 5x over what it would cost if they were made in and shipped from China. This isn’t an $8 plastic bin in value.

This is a great product. Be careful when you order. If it seems like a deal too good to be true, it probably is. The items offered by Drillspot are sold individually, not as a set of 24 as stated in the description. Recommend buying from Amazon to get the complete case, even though the Drillspot price seems to be very cheap. I just thought the red was on clearance or something similar. When it was delivered that was only one in the box.

I bought these bins to organize a cabinet and shelf. The bins certainly got the job done. Easy to stack, lightweight, but durable, and easy to organize the odds and ends. At first I was concerned about the height, but that actually worked out perfectly for the space I had. I do wish I could have mixed and matched colors, but I understand they are sold by the case.

Product was just like it said when ordered. Shipped very fast.

Same as what Dillon sells only cheaper. Bought a whole box full. Most in use, and lots of clutter cleaned up. I keep brass, bullets, and cartridges of various calibers ready to go. Best prices on the internet.

I have bought Akro Mils hanging bins many times. I store a lot of parts. Getting 24 at a time kept the price down, but you get what you pay for and these are good ones.
